Good tool, could be better
After digging, fighting, etc., to replace some sprinkler heads, I began envisioning what the perfect tool would look like, because I was gonna create it and become an irrigation living legend! Then, I decided to look online to see what might already exist and this tool showed up. It did exactly what my idea would do, with one exception where my idea is still superior! It works well to unscrew the body and the guide rod helps to steer the new head onto the connector piece thingy in the ground. And it does, for the most part keep dirt from getting to the lines. But, It does not keep water in the lines from filling up the hole. My perfect idea would have had a tapered, flexible end on the rod that would more effectively plug the hole to block both dirt and water. I’ll probably come up with a means to solve that for my repairs. The rest of you area on your own. It’s a good tool that could be better.

Well Done
This easy out product is as advertised. When you don't know what you're doing, it's 5 minutes. When you know what you're doing, it's 3 minutes. I struggled with 2 sprinkler heads for hours before I purchased the Underhill Easy Out. With the Easy Out, I changed out 5 in less than 20 minutes and the last one was in the dark. Great product. They hit a home run. If you have a sprinkler system that you maintain yourself, you will not regret this product.

Better than expected
I needed to cap a head that was no longer needed. Did some research and found this handy tool. Within 5 minutes the head was off and capped without issue. No digging necessary. Highly recommend.

This sprinkler tool is a Game Changer! Purchase this if you are changing out sprinkler heads
I am a newbie to a lot of things in the garden and of last week I didn't know anything about changing out sprinkler heads. It would be something that I would normally pay someone to do; however, after watching a few YouTube videos I thought it would be something I could do. I did not initially see the videos about this tool and on my first attempt to change a head I dug around the bad sprinkler head all the way to the bottom. It was not hard but it was laborious. THEN I saw the video for this tool and it seemed too good to be true. The reviews were mostly all positive and it was cheap. IT WORKS! Very easy to use. GET THIS!

Made it much easier
I need to raise my heads so that they pop up above the grass. I dug the first one out and made basically a mess doing it. There has to be a better way, and this is it. One of the big things I like is the rod that you place in the sprinkler body before you remove it. The rod keeps stuff from getting into the pipe and guides you to the pipe when you replace the body. The tool itself slipped right into the body and it was easy to pull the sprinkler and put it back in. This tool makes it so much easier.

Worked even better than I had hoped
I bought this tool knowing I had multiple heads ready to be replaced and somewhat dreading the job. In all I replaced six heads in about an hour with this tool and the only reason it took that long was because of a couple issues totally unrelated to the tool. This worked perfectly each of the six times to get the old head out and the new one in again. Outside of a little digging around the top of the head I didn’t have to do anything to get the old ones out.Without this tool I would have been digging for hours. I probably would have only replaced four and lived with the other two that weren’t quite as bad, but it was just so easy to do the work that I did all of them. The plastic the tool is made of us thick and feels solid. I never even needed the second ‘wrench’ piece of the tool. Just dropped the main body of the tool in with the metal guide bar in place and firmly twisted by hand. That worked to remove and install each head with ease.

Won't fit a Weathermatic T-3 rotary body
I just received this tool. I have several Weathermatic T-3 rotaries. The inside of the sprayer body is larger than the top most step of the tool. Therefore the tool won't go down into the sprayer body. Also the length of the tool is the same as the inside depth of the sprayer body. There for the top most steps won't go down into the body even if the body was wide enough. Tool is just not made for Weathermatic sprayers I guess. I can grind down the size of the tool to fit into the sprayer body I guess. The smaller end of the tool does fit the Weathermatic popup sprayer body.Edit: actually was able to use it with T-3. Had to cut off 1" of the bottom end so body would go into the T-3 far enough. Also had to file off a bit of the larger end steps to fit into the T-3 body. But it grabbed the "fins" in the body so I could twist out the T-3 body from ground. Did save me from digging up the ground all around the body.

Just what I’ve always dreamed of
I had been thinking about a product like this and couldn’t find one, so I almost carved one out of wood. Then I came across this baby and it works better than I even imagined. I usually only use the tapered insert to twist out the sprinkler head. Every once in a while, the head is in so tight that I need to use the lever also.

Saves digging
Great when changing/raising sprinkler heads. It wedges into the sprinkler cup with plenty of force to remove it without digging. Only issue is a good amount of force is required to remove the cup from the tool. Most times, I had to use a bench vice to hold the tool allowing me to use both hands on the cup. If raising the sprinkler, a extraction tool will be required as the risers rarely stay with the cup. Another option would be to use new risers female connections.
