Japanese made part
Aisin parts are known for their quality, but this pump's exterior finish is not up to the Honda pump finish. I hope the bearings and seals are OK. Keep my fingers crossed as the replacement time requires R&R timing belt....and that harmonic pulley bolt is a bear, to remove even with the special holding tool

Cheaper than OE Honda pump, and it shows.
Bought this pump to replace the cheap-looking Chinese-made pump included in Gates kit but it doesn't look much better. I assumed this would be a high-quality Japanese-made part, being from Aisin, but this is in fact made in USA to a noticeably lower standard. The pulley and shaft are identical to original Honda, right down to the NSK stamping, however the impeller is cheaper looking and the aluminum casting finish is far rougher. I'm sure this pump would work just fine, but if you are looking for actual OE quality, look elsewhere.Pictured: Chinese pump from Gates kit (left), Aisin WPH-800 (center), OEM Honda pump removed from vehicle (right)

Works well, so far!
It comes with the gasket clued to the pump already. Not sure if that's what it's supposed to be and hope the description can make it clear if that's what it supposed to be. It does look and fit the same way as the original OEM ones that I took off. Works well so far.
