No lost bristles yet
Washes up nicely, holds sauce well, and doesn’t appear to lose bristles as much

Great brush
Using for pastry with butter and egg wash. Washes beautifully and sanitizes. Appreciate the blue bristles, if one should break off you will spot it readily on your product.

Better than Silicone
We love these basters. They are like the kind from years ago. They spread more evenly than the silicone ones used today. I bought 2 of them in different sizes because we use them all of the time.

Works great
The blue color bristles are fantastic as they are easy to see if one happens to fall out. This works excellent to brush melted butter on phyllo dough.

Good brush
Got this because my silicone brush wasn't cutting it for all tasks. Works great.

Wrong description and defective
The media could not be loaded. My brush came with a sticky thumb print on the handle,a bristle that was looped because it was attached by both ends, another bristle that was sticking out farther than the other unevenly cut ones, yet another one that looked partly melted, and also there was glue or epoxy on the bristles near the handle. Not what I expected from a brand that sells other brushes for more than $100.Also the description seems to be for a different brush. The bristles of this one are not tapered or white, and there's no ferrule. The bristles are chisel-cut, but chunky and a little uneven. The size seems to match the description also, but the bristles are a little stiff. The seams are a slightly pokey but don't hurt my hand and the sunken part of the handle makes it a little uncomfortable to hold.I think it would be a decent brush around the $10 range if you can get it without the defects mine had, even though it doesn't have the tapered bristles I wanted for using on more delicate doughs. Was given a prompt refund without having to send it back.
