Does what it says on the tin very easy to use

Once you get to grips with the pliers the process is really easy. I am using the clips to attach wire fencing to the tension wires of a dog fence. The only downside is that the ends of the clips are very pointed and sharp which is not ideal if the dog is trying to escape or rubbing against the fence, it could cause minor contusions. I have tried compressing the clips as much as pilossible but that exposes the sharp points more and I have tried to leave them less tight but then they don't hold the fence as tight. Bit annoying but have had to compromise. Good product just beware of the sharps!

Jaws made out of cheese... Or a similar soft material.The indents in the jaw ends to hold the hog rings in place wear out within 50-100 times of use.For me that was roughly 2-3 weeks.Due to the wearing out of the metal, the hog rings fly out at high speed without warning with the potential of hitting you in the eye as one did hit my face.In Addition, the spring bar is either too short or the groove it sits in is poorly engineered.Lastly, the red rubberised hand grips rotate and start to slip off the metal part also creating to the overall bad experience with this item.No photo to show as they were placed in the bin.You definitely get what yo pay for!I have since spent nearly 3 times that for a high quality pair which have been used several hundred times with zero signs of wear.I have gone through 5 or 6 sets of the cheaper ones over the years, do yourself a favour and buy some high quality pliers first time and not repeat my experience.This is not a dig at Chinese tools it's a dig at CHEAP Chinese tools.The more expensive great quality pliers are also from China.It's just sad there are no British tool manufacturers producing these.

Really good product works really well but is very very sharp I used it for my rats cage and it has cut one of my rats so I have had to remove them.

Great delivery and a good product except, now I have used up all the hogs, I need more but obviously I don't need another pair of pliers.All other hogs are glued together for use with a hog gun not loose.Wish I'd have bought one of the guns instead of the pliers set.
