The thermostat was hard to program. Once installed and programed, it works fine. So far so good! Now I have better control of my rec room temps.

I bought this thermostat to replace the Nuheat thermostat that was a part of my electric radiant floor heat system in our kitchen and dinning room. The Nuheat model had a GFCI function that had been nuisance tripping since shortly after it was installed. This new Honeywell thermostat is the exact same thermostat except it has no GFCI protection. The unit installed very quickly and easily with just Line, Neutral, and thermocouple connections to be made. I made a couple of tweaks to the default heating schedule and we once again have warm feet in the morning.I like the easy of programming of the unit. Since we aren't heating the house with the radiant heating, I flipped a toggle switch to disable the ambient temperature sensor. All together, a very nice design at a reasonable price.

This thermostat is very simple to program + 3 manuals settings: Day, Night or Vacation.In addition it mesure the floor radiant temperature and the room temperature in same time.You may assign a minimum and a maximum for the floor temperature and the desire ambiant temperature.It's work very well and precisely.

Had to install 2 of those at home. Once I took time to read somewhat complex instructions that are written in a small print, I realized it gives you a lot of options. Not sure why but one of them always reads 2 degrees (F) higher than another while located next to each other.

Mine was a replacement for an previous Honeywell Unit (Same Exact Package) damaged during a remodel. This is a 240VAC Single Phase unit designed for higher power applications. Simple to hook up... 4 wires. Unit package is deep. Requires a deeper than standard work box to package. Thank Amazon and Aube for providing this as a stand alone replacement!

I bought these for my house and accidentally got the 240 instead of the 120. It took me 2 months to install them so I may be out of luck on the return. I bought the 120 version and they work great, just need to read the instructions as it is not completely intuitive on how to program them.

Just what I needed

I bought three of these to replace the cheap Chinese controllers that came with my radiant floor heating system, two of which have failed.These are a great product. Programming is simple (if tedious). Fit, finish, and installation was straightforward.Be warned - Amazon split my order between two different vendors. One of the three thermostats did not have the option to use the floor temperature sensor - it is a different part number than I ordered.
