Super convenient adjustments
At first, I was reluctant to order these because I figured it's just one more thing to pack and I know how to tie knots so what's the big deal? But, with the low introductory price and the nicer carabiners than can with the hammock, I figured why not. If I don't like them I can return them. Well, the first time out, I recognized the beauty of having straps like these. First off, the wider strap than rope protects the tree to a greater degree. But what really makes them nice is being able to adjust your hammock without tying and re-tying. You have a multitude of attachment points between the two straps. One point to remember - they only roll up one way. Of course you can roll them up either way, but the fastening strap (velcro) only works in one direction. Oh - and watch out for tree sap.

Functional, Easy, Durable, and Price Point can't be beat.
for the past 4 years of hammock camping, I've been using rope and heavy duty steel carabiners to hang. This poses several issues, the bigges ones being trying to find trees that are close enough, continuously checking the rope for frays, and replacing it, but also the added weight of the large, thick, steel biners. With Golden Eagle newly releasing these XL straps, I thought it would be a great opportunity to upgrade my straps to something a bit more versatile. I was not disappointed in the least. the almost 10 foot straps are made of a thick, webbing that have triple stitching at every loop point, which is about 4 1/2 to 5 inches apart. These multiple loops not only allow for a fully customizable hang, but also allow you to have multiple attach points for other gear, like a cup, flashlight, or a small bag. the length is a huge plus, allowing you to use larger trees, or trees that may be spread out.I especially like the velcro wrap that holds each strap tightly together while packed away. This wrap can also be used to tie together the excess, so you don't have to worry about it dragging on the ground, or getting caught on something. The straps do have to be wrapped up a certain way in order for the velcro wrap to work, but this is easily remedied by folding the strap in half before winding it - this allows for easier handling and lets you see which side the wrap goes.Aluminum Carabiners have a sleek look, with the hook being smoothed out so that it won't catch on loose fabric. they are very light weight, and held me (a 220lbs man), and my 40lbs. toddler with no issues at all. the biggest plus though, is how light weight they are!The carrying back is made of a parachute material, so it's lightweight, and is made large enough to easily fit both straps and biners with no problem. I attached the bag to my hammock bag so that they are always together, and so that I don't lose it.But the price point is the best part. when compared to the Wise Owl hammock straps, the biners are very similar, and the Wise Owl allows for more color options on the inner stitching, but is about $7 more expensive. The Favofit hammock straps with similar biners is pretty much the same product, but for $10 more! So, Let's score this out:Ease of use: 5 out of 5: easy to unpack, use, adjust, secure excess line, and wrap up and pack. carrying bag is big enough to hold everything.Functionality: 5 out of 5: multiple attachment points, velcro holds strap tightly in the carrying bag, but also holds excess together, Carabiners are light, sleek, and have a smoothed out hook.Quality: 5 out of 5: Webbing is thick and durable. Triple loop stitching provides security and durability. Carabiners are aluminum, and can take up to 5 kN of force. velcro wraps are made of a thinner webbing, but strong enough to secure the straps.Options: 1 out of 5: This product only comes in one color: Yellow and black. For me this wasn't a big deal, but it may be a turn of for some.Price Comparison: 5 out of 5: compared to other, similar products, this is the least expensive product, offering the same options and features.Final Score and Thoughts: 5 out of 5: A very nice, high quality product. Easy to use, multi-functional, light, and priced well below similar products. The only Con that i can see is the color options, but the price and quality are more than enough to overlook this. Golden Eagle did a superb job with these straps, and i am really glad at the purchase. I will definitely look here first when I'm ready to update my Hammock gear.

I have only used them once so far. But so far so good. They are nice quality straps and are a super easy set up. They worked well. I don't usually leave reviews for things, but I know this is a newer company and I was leery to purchase them without them having any reviews yet, so I figured I would help out and leave a review. It was a good price for some straps. I like that the strap material is softer as well, it feels nice on your hands and it gave me peace of mind that it wouldn't break a bunch of bark off of the tree. And I really like that they have a built in strap to wrap around the straps once you've rolled them up. It makes it nice for storage. And it comes with a nice storage bag as well.

Works great and easy!
Worked great, easy, came quickly, good introductory price. I got a good deal on a hammock ($15 at Menards), and didn't want to pay more for the straps (that didn't come with the hammock) than the hammock, so this product fit the bill. I did previously purchase another manufacturers straps for another hammock that had a little extra material/loop where hammock hooks on, supposedly to put weight strain on two sewn seams at a time instead of 1, but so far this product has worked well without evidence of seem failure, although for only a couple weeks time.

Strong, easy to use.
Great improvement over the straps or ropes that came with our hammocks. My son lost his original straps and my hammock came with some rather poor ropes that were difficult to adjust. I ordered two sets of these and could not be happier. They are strong, easy to use, and long enough to give you a ton of options when looking for suitable trees. The yellow color will also reduce the odds of my son leaving his straps around a tree again!

Excellent value
This is an outstanding strap for the price. What you see is what you get. The velcro is a nice touch: keeps the straps tidy both in and out of the bag - cut it off if you need to shed ounces, but if you are that crazy about ultra-light, you wouldn't use a strap like this anyway.

Works exactly like it should
Worked perfectly for me at 6'4" 210lbs and had a gf sleep in my hammock with me for 3 months, never an issue. They held up in the New Zealand bush for a year and a half and I love them. As a side note you don't have to feed the strap all the way through as it wastes a lot of time, you can just loop it through and attach hammock there.

Just as good as high dollar straps!
I don’t write a lot of reviews but I purchased two sets of these straps for our beach trip. I have some other brand name straps and these are every bit as good as the high dollar ones. I especially like the Velcro straps that hold them together - they also make a nice little loop to hook something on when the hammock is up. :) the bright yellow ones are nice and easy to see too!

very good strong straps
very good strong straps. easy to wrap around tree. I got climbing karabiners to use with it. a bit heavy to carry but worth it in the end to have piece of mind that your hammock wont hit the floor during the night with these in place. all in all a good bit of kit.

super Teile
