This drawing salve works great. I ordered it for potential poison ivy and splinters in an upcoming camping and hiking trip but ended up using it on mosquito bites this evening. It did a pretty good job. It drew out the poison and the itch stopped within minutes. I couldn't believe how well it works. I didn't have to resort to the venom suction pump which often leaves a bruise mark behind.I appreciate that this salve is all-natural and easy to use. It has a herbal-like scent. Not unpleasant nor super strong but noticeable. It comes in a sturdy clip-lock plastic jar. 10 bonus cotton island pressing, wrapped for sterile, are provided. Overall, I'm really impressed with this drawing salve. It works great as advertised, at least for mosquito bites. It is pricey but the quick relief is worth it. I'm a believer now. Recommended.

This stuff is a complete waste of money and there apparently is a no return policy. My dad used to have a product when I was a kid called Black Salve that would be used on ingrown hair, pimples, boils, etc. and worked incredibly. I had been trying to find a similar product and just haven't. I am surprised by the amount of favorable reviews. The only thing I disagree with is their comments about a bad smell. I don't mind it at all... I just wish it frigging worked or I could get my $40 back. Complete waste of money for no results. Oh and if the product not working wasn't enough my container was all dented and banged up and the little canvas baggie for the bandages is really cheezy and cheaply made...LOL

When I first opened The Hairy Gnome Drawing Salve, I was put off by the strong smell. It is strong. However (and a big however), I did not mind the smell at all once I discovered how well it worked. It is amazing! My son got stung by a wasp last night and we applied this and he felt better in minutes. Mosquitos also love us, so this salve has come in super handy. I am telling everyone I know about this crazy stuff.

I really like this salve. It comes with really nice Band-Aids as well. You just put it on and place a Band-Aid over it. This will pull out splinters and boils and other insect bite issues you might have on your skin. There is no skin irritation. This is a really good value for what you get. It comes in a beautiful glass jar that can be reused. This will probably last forever because the jar is so large.

I was very glad to add this to my home remedy cabinet. It is made with natural ingredients and seems to work fairly well. Luckily I have not had any stings to try it out on but for bug bites it does seem to help. It has a very strong smoky fragrance to it. For any Epcot fans out there think of the “burning Rome” smell. I do not find it repelling at all, but actually pleasant. it comes in a very nice dirty plastic jar with clamp down lid. Only takes a little bit of product to do the job. That jar should last a long time. Recommend keeping this on hand.
