How do i know when to change the filter?

There is a counter on the lid of the jug. It counts the number of times the lid is opened to fill the jug. It shows how much of the efficiency of the filter is left. I change the filter when it gets a little way into the red (about 25%). For me that is roughly 3 months. After you have replaced the filter you must always remember to reset the counter to 100%.

Does this filter actually take out Manganese?
