Works but could be better
I burn wood to heat my house and shop. so I deal with a lot of logs in a years time. It works. The hook end needed opened up a bit so the chain would slide through it like it was supposed to. The rod on the end to fish the chain under a log was a good idea un till it got bent up dragging a log up a hill over some rocks with the winch. I did end up breaking the large link on the end but that was most likely my fault. I'm now have a small clevis on the end of the chain. I do like the bright green color it stands out against great. I cant say how many chains got left behind from blending in. All in all it works. And many for someone who isn't as hard on stuff will have a little better luck.

It's a 12 (not 15) foot chain, 5/16" links
The chain just arrived. So far I haven't used it. Reading the box first thing I noticed is that it is a 12 foot, 5/16" chain. The description indicates it is a 15 foot chain and there is no mention of the size of the links. It is definitely hi-viz green. The box indicates a 4700 lb pulling/dragging capacity. The thing is made in China as is indicated on the box. There is a warning of "not for overhead lifting." For use with ATVS, UTVs and lawn tractors. So why did I give it 3 stars? As I got 80% of the chain I purchased (12 of the 15 feet) I figured no more than 4 stars is appropriate. I'll update my rating, either up or down, after I've dragged some logs. Today is 13 Dec 2019 and I have until early January to return it. I'll take down a couple of trees tomorrow and that will give me a chance to test it.

Great choker
I had to drag down a bunch of trees that hung up in other dead trees when they fell and also just drag some across the ground (the skidding cone another reviewer mentioned is great for that - thanks) It worked great. Gripped the trees tightly - no slipping off. Easy to use and as another reviewer pointed out it is so much better than messing with grab hook chains, etc. I would buy it again with no hesitation

choker chain
This is a great choker chain. Just the right length and I like the ring and probe to make it easy to snake chain under log lying on ground. I have usually bought chain by the foot and made up my own choker, but this one was actually a little less already assembled than what I normally pay for chain and two hooks and it has the bonus of the ring and "probe". I had a hard time finding this item configured like the TMW-47...seems current model does not have the "probe" thing on it. As I have stated earlier, I really like that feature since I don't have to use a log jack to lift logs lying on ground to get the chain under. Green color is also good making chain easy to spot, but it quickly wears off after skidding a few.

Good chain, pleased
So far so good, have used it to pull pretty large Pine logs with my UTV, chain cinches down on logs nicely to drag them but doesn’t bite so much it damages the wood. Biggest log it’s pulled is about 20” diameter by about 12 feet long no issues. Sometimes I wish it was a little longer, but not a big deal.

It might be useful if you are pulling with a ball hitch
Very strong. I used it with a 50 Hp tractor after breaking a 3/8" ; proof chain. But I would remove the big round ring; it just gets in the way with a grab link set-up. It might be useful if you are pulling with a ball hitch. The green paint chips off easily. I have pulled 60' long, 18" diameter logs with it, and I have stopped the tractor with it when hitting a stump. The tractor, by the way, has broken nylon straps rated at 20,000 lb breaking strength. So, the 4700# load rating is very conservative.

Strong and Secure
Exactly what I needed to pull cut trees across my yard. 40+ trees pulled across rocky terrain and the chain is going strong. Easy to wrap and secure around tree and it has not slipped off. I recommend a skidding cone with the chain. The steel ring has not failed or deformed. The bright paint helps to see the chain.

Strong and it works
Very nice chain for skidding trees. The metal rod on the end is handy for feeding the chain under logs. The green coating may not have a long life. I like the ring on the end, just drop it over a ball hitch mount and go. Also use this to skid larger trees with a 100 hp John Deere tractor with no problems.
