I didn't think I was going to make it through Chloe's story. Lived, lived, lied every written word.Talk about throwing a curve ball not just writing about how even the wealthy are victims of abuse. But to add the element of a psychopath and a disappearance to the mix of finding happily ever after.This one had me on the edge, as well as pins and needles. When it was first mentioned of her disappearance, I knew she wasn't dead and that she would be found. However, it was as though it was no biggie, the Colters being so deeply involved in the government, that more resources weren't being put out, no concern other than Chloe worrying.Confused by the wealth that once Gabe found out what she had been going through there were no secret undercover agents following her for Christ sake.And that slithering psychopath creep got off to easy for my blood. Need to dig him up and beat life back into him and give him the death he truly deserved.J.S. Scott, you have kept me on this love sick rollercoaster in these billionaire series, that I must applaud 👏🏾 you for keeping me hooked and some sleepless nights because I couldn't get the story out of my head. Thank you for Chloe's, Asha's and Mia's stories. Thank you for keeping the billionaire boys intermingled into each other's stories. Feeling like another of your devoted fans...need more of each one of the books.Hoping you will bring them all together for a huge charity event around their combined investment so that all of these couples are brought together.Now on to Zane's and Ellie's love story.

Chloe engaged to a crazy sociopath doctor James was cruel to her and he loved to hurt her. Gabe loved her and she fell in love with him . You have to read the story to find our what happens to this couple an her family and friends. Thank you for sharing this entertaining story. You write some of the best stories ever.

Chloe and Gabe; what great main characters. They had known each other for so much of their lives growing up. They hadn't really seen much each other in a while. But that kiss on New Year's Eve? That really did change everything....Gabe saw who Chloe was and he really liked everything about her; just as she is. Chloe had been so worn down by her boyfriend/supposed fiance. He was all for number 1- himself and his abusive behavior was both verbal and physical. And he seemed to be escalating. Time will show just how vile he is.It was kind of fun to have BOTH of the main people rich billionaires even though it was part of the problem when it come to Chloe and her ex.Gabe treats Chloe like gold; even as he struggles with some hesitation when it comes to being more than just a friend to her. He knows she needs time to heal. She is his best friend's sister which should put her off limits. But that only works for so long because he really does care for her. I can see why there is a 18+ reader suggestion because there will be sex scenes.Some surprises are in store, there is a H.E.A. This a good stand alone story without any real cliffhanger. Although one question remains unanswered. What happened to Ellie, Chloe's best friend? There is a quick look into the answers to that in the Excerpt at the back of the book called, "Billionaire Undaunted".On a side note or two, I want to mention that I think that it was helpful for the story to contain warning signs for women when it comes to unhealthy relationships. Also that Chloe finally got help and counseling. That wasn't done in a preaching or condemning way either. Nicely done.I also really liked the attractive cover for the eBook.

Chole and Gabe story takes you on a high and low road to becoming the couple that bonded for their love and support for each other. Reading the story I fought with the idea of the smart young woman allow her self to be manipulated and put abused but the more you read it becomes easier to understand. Many lessons to learn from this book. Highly recommended. Get it now.

This tells of how even a billionaire and billionaires' family member can have a not so great life until the one true love enters. And boy what a great true love he is and so understanding and compassionate for what she has endured so far in her love life. Not even her many caring brothers and mother noticed the hurt she was experiencing. Her true love sweeps her off her feet and cares for her in a way to change her course of life and love.

The author gripped my attention and need to see Chloe triumph over the narcissistic, good for nothing doctor in Billionaire Untamed and did not disappoint me in how she carefully crafts the story to reveal all that Chloe endured, her misgivings about trust, the reason she hid the abuse from her family, and the slow and steady journey between her and Gabe, the man who loves her and is desperate to help her heal and trust again. Chloe’s story helps to show the dangers of getting involved with the wrong person and how even smart women with strong and supportive families can be manipulated into feeling that they have to endure and hide the abuse. Shame and fear should never be a reason not to speak. Abusers are cowards and need to be brought to justice. The reader will fall in love with Chloe’s journey, her learning how to defend herself, her seeking the help of a counselor, and falling in love with a man who loves her for the wonderful and beautiful woman she is inside. Gabe, despite being a confident, alpha male, also has a heart of gold and becomes her safe haven. The reader will be captivated by this heartwarming story of triumph, true love, and the message that love should never hurt and the one who truly deserves your heart is the one who loves and cherishes you for exactly who you are on the inside. My only complaint about these books so far is that I liked the old covers better (sorry Ms. Scott).

We first had an insight into the relationship between Chloe & James in the previous book ,but obviously as this is Chloe’s story we learn exactly what she has had to endure . At long last though she’s beginning to realise that it’s not the type of relationship that she wants with the help of Lara, who has put her in contact with Natalie an abuse councillor and of course she been getting self defence lessons from Lara, she now feels that it’s time to end this toxic abusive relationship , apart from enduring the abuse she’s also dealing with the mysterious disappearance of her best freind Ellie . After learning that Chloe wants to break off their engagement James doesn’t take the news well ,but when things start to get out of hand thankfully Gabe steps in to get her to safety. Gabe is the best friend of Blake her elder brother has always had feelings for Chloe , he decides the best thing now would be to get Chloe and away from James so as his resident vet has just retired he offers her the job ,which she accepts . There’s a lot going on in this story thankfully though it doesnt take long before Gabe and Chloe become more than friends and she gets the type of relationship she deserves . Always in the background is the evil James and it would seem that he’s hatched a plan to finally get Chloe back ,will there be a HEA for Chloe & Gabe .... I think you can guess the answer to that 😉.

This story of Chloe and Gabe is a sad one. Chloe is stuck in a nightmare with her then fiance James. He is an abuser, but she thinks she will never be happy with another guy, and that things are her fault. Chloe has always known Gabe, but they drifted apart. One kiss from him at a New Year's Eve party, and she sees that James is not the one for her. He life could be so different with Gabe, and she could finally be happy. Gabe becomes her safe haven when she needs him the most, but as in other billionaire books, who is really saving who? Another enjoyable read.

Chloe came from a rich family she was the youngest and only girl. She trained as a vet she met her so called fiance James little knowing how her life would change . James was a doctor starting a practice in her home town. He started to hurt her both physically and mentally forcing her to have anal sex while tied up she begged him to stop but she soon became covered in bruises from his violent out bursts. This story brings an understanding of how women soon loose there right and stay with the abusive partners. It shocking upsetting to read but bring feelings of hopelessness for the character. You soon go from anger heartache upsets to love kindness and hope. Brilliant throughout story that shows true life encourage of the abused person. Recommend reading this book and the others in the Billionaire series.

One of my initial impressions of this story is that there are too many characters mentioned in the prologue and first couple of chapters. They maybe links to previous books in the series, however all they do is make for unnecessary complexity at the start and make it more difficult for the reader to engage with the heroines story.My other concern is that this billionaire only has one party outfit, really?! I appreciate that as a vet casual clothes are more appropriate but if money was no object then there is no excuse for the wardrobe to be lacking! I think it could use a little more detail of what James has done wrong earlier in the novel, but still saving the big reveal till later.The lack of restraint from Gabe after her few days R&R is ridiculous. He knows about her previous relationship difficulties, her recent break up from a long term relationship, her medical emergency just over a week earlier yet he still comes on to her like a randy beast who can't control itself.I'm not impressed with this hero.SPOILERS!It gets increasingly unrealistic as the sexual relationship develops, bearing in mind what happened would she really be comfortable with anything approaching anal stimulation? Why go back to James when you can prove he is a blackmailer? Why leave the blackmail evidence for anyone to find? Then when you have reunited with James why retaliate by kneeing him but then continue to go to get married? It's inconsistent, either you're afraid of him and giving in or you're not and fighting back.Unfortunately inconsistencies with characters actions seem to continue into the next book. Why keep Ellie alive? Surely it would make more sense to kill her and dispose of the body? We've already been given the impression several times that the baddie is a sociopath. But no, Ellie is needed as Zane's love interest and has to be rescued in the nick of time!Disappointing.

Wow! Chloe's story is heart rending and made me mad as hell. I wanted to reach in and grab James and give him a taste of his own medicine. It is so sad that she was so manipulated that she didn't feel free to seek help from her family earlier. Unfortunately women in Chloe's situation is usually so emotionally damaged that they find it hard because they feel ashamed. Thank God for Laura's intuition and help. She got Chole develop the strength to get out. Gabe is a soothing balm to Chloe's aching body, heart and mind, everything she needed to continue the process she began, to make herself whole again. A fantastic, heartbreaking, suspenseful, romantic engaging story
