It's so easy to get a five star experience from this bug zapper. It's of significant enough size, actually zaps bugs without fail, ACTUALLY ATTRACTS BUGS (very many don't) without fail, is properly shielded, doesn't get hot, is well balanced, and doesn't require a manual to operate. Plug it in within 12 feet of an exit or window and the flying things will simply disappear.Because it actually works, don't use it outside unless you want to clean it every five minutes. That doesn't warrant a bad review. It did its job, you just abused it. Bugs get fried and, because electricity, they sometimes get stuck and overcooked. That's a physics thing, not a problem with this particular device. Let it go. That's penalizing it for actually working. Luck is why it "hasn't happened with others." I've always seen bug zappers of any generation or brand have those things happen, however.This is a wonderful and inexpensive device. I'll be buying more once I move next year.

It works well, very effective at insect control, with the possible exception of house flies, thst seen to ignore it. It's very light, so you can hand it off any sort of a mount with the included hook. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to clean it, but it does such a good job killing the bugs that you can pretty much blow them off the conductive bars and give it a few shakes. Edit.... The bottom can be removed, quite easily, like taking the lid off a jar.

Works well, I’ll probably buy more.Living out in the county with woods on all sides and water (pond) very close. Bugs everywhere, this does attract & zap a bunch of them

I have to say I am impressed with this! I have pest control and they cannot even control the bugs that come out at night. I like to give my dog attention and play time in the evening. I was unable to go out my back sliding glass door without hundreds of little annoying bugs and mosquitoes getting in. I was having to walk all the way to the front of the house and walk out my side garage door to avoid bugs getting inside. This has made it so I can go out my back sliding glass door. It definitely does a good job at getting rid of the annoying bugs, including mosquitoes. I highly recommend this!

The first zapper they sent had a beautiful blue light, but it didn't zap the bugs. I returned it, which was extremely easy, and a new one was at my door 2 days after I informed them of the problem. The replacement works like a champ. All night long I hear those poor little suckers meeting their doom. For the price, you couldn't ask for a better product. It is pretty easy to clean, so that is another good point.

I originally purchased a NEW zapper just like the previous one I purchased and am very pleased with. When I plugged it in it did not work. Amazon was prompt to accept my request for a replacement. I then received a replacement. Unfortunately, I was provided with a USED item and not a NEW device like I originally received and paid for. I believe some companies use the term "Bait and Switch" for this type support. Very disappointing senior management of this company is allowing this type service.

This is a great little bug zapper, I have noticed a huge decrease in bugs while sitting on my patio since hanging this. It’s not so easy to clean but I did find that the canned air or an air compressor blows it out nicely.

This is a very inexpensive lightweight functional buz zapper. But you have to power clean it about every 24 hours. It kills the bugs but they stick on the light.
