Adorable Animal Quilting: 20+ Charming Patterns for Paper-Pieced Dogs, Cats, Turtles, Monkeys and More

I love all the animals in this book. I tried Dominic the dog working with an experienced paper piecing person. Neither one of us could get the dog lined up correctly. I think piece A8 should be a background piece and not body piece. I also found it hard to print out the pattern pieces from the book. I don’t want to destroy the book by cutting out the pages. Also, might be helpful to have a one inch marker on pattern pages for reference.

A very well written book. Adorable animals is a great name for this book. I enjoyed sewing a rooster from the book.

I tried and tried and could not get the foundation pieces to the dog square to fit together accurately. Some pieces were plainly to long. I even cut the paper foundation pieces out and tried to put the paper pieces together. No luck there either Also be aware that it is impossible to print the foundation pieces out from the Kindle addition. Very disappointed in this book.

I bought the Kindle version after seeing that I was to have access to the patterns online which is NOT the case. Had to go old school and screen print and transfer to another program to size and print. Pain in the butt!!! The patterns are ok if you can get them printed.

I love this book and it has allowed me to master FPP at last. The projects are delightful. I gave it 4* rather than 5* owing to the absence of a CD or other digital means of printing the patterns. You have to trace or copy the patterns from the book, which is tricky as well as time consuming. I might have to cut the pages out as it’s difficult to get them completely flat.
