Well for those who had disappointed experience I recommend that you 3 kings 40 mm charcoal. Get a lighter like a cigar 3 or 4 jet. Get tongs to hold the charcoal and get it fully lit before it goes into the censor. Use a small spoon and put the incense on it with the charcoal hot. The proper use of incense It is very important for the incense to maintain its aroma, to be stored in a jar that closes tight and be kept in a cool and dry place, because the heat can damage the incense and become gummy. The good incese has to stay "hard" and releases its aroma slowly. Light the charcoal for few seconds before and when you'll see it turn grey and burning well, then put the incense on the coal of the censer. Never put incense on top of a coal that you just lit, because the incense will melt without release its aroma.This is true of all good incense. It must be handled and lit correctly or it does.not work. Unless you are Orthodox you would not know and the seller assumes you know what you are doing.Make sure your censor is scrapped out and clean old resin out of it. Old resin smells off. If your censor is really dirty use hopes number 9 (yes gun cleaner) and fill it and let it sit overnight. It will dissolve the resin and make it easy to clean dry well before using. Incense is only as good as the charcoal you are using. 3 kings does not smoke as much as others and thus you can get the full enjoyment of good incense. Some are more delicate than others and I find at least that it does last a while . Stick stuff can last longer but due to chemical additives that can bring on lung issues on some like me. It does come from mount athos and is traditional Byzantine incense. While you are at it visit an Orthodox Church and nicely ask the deacon to show you :-) say a prayer while you are there and leave with something even greater

Great aroma when burned. I like the powder coating on the pieces of myrrh. A pound will last me a while but when I do rub out I'll be reordering from this seller.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this incense. I was very excited about buying this item and truly looked forward to receiving it. I am returning this. It is very expensive and the quality is very low. It produces a TON of scentless smoke after the first 30 seconds of burning. Not worth the money. So disappointed. I could have bought incense sticks from a gas station that was better than this. VERY MISLEADING. I have used resin incense for many, many years and this is probably the biggest disappointment I have ever had. I also bought the nard scent which I haven't received yet but after this disappointment, I will probably send it directly back. VERY DISSAPOINTED in this product.
