Holds lots of brushes
Plenty of room for artists brushes and pencils etc.One gripe, when it’s rolled up some brushes fell out of the top. It would be helpful to have a flap on the top you can fold over inside before it’s rolled up for transporting.

Double layer doesn't work
Look closely at the image - you cannot put items in the top and bottom slots they overlap each other. Only gives you 30 slots if using for brushes and all handles are very thin. Good for very long brushes in top layer as the slot is the full length and short brushes in lower layers. If you want it for pencils as per the title it only has 15 slots.

It's bigger than I thought. I use it to keep my aquarium tools. Nice material and sturdy.
