Updated on 3May23In March I received that same product via ORDER # 404-9983100-3169942, which was returned 40 days later after facing too many problems, especially with the Philips Customer service... they simply refused to take it back saying that the damage is not covered and also that they don't honour any third-party purchase warranty.So, when I received this order, I closely inspected the reason for the previous damage. I noted the following:- The problem in the last purchase was the hinge attachment of the dome lid broke. Hinges are attached to the dome through two female brackets each, into which the two studs of the hinge are inserted. One of these attachments had broken, after the first use (see photos).- On inspecting the second purchase, I found that one of the studs of the hinge was not getting fully inserted into the bracket, because either the hole in the bracket was of lesser diameter, or the hinge stud was of larger dia. Therefore, I concluded that because it was not properly aligning, the pressure on the bracket was not uniform, which led to the breaking of the bracket. This is a manufacturing defect.- Now, I reduced the dia of the hinge stud and the problem is hopefully solved…Update 27 April 23After an unpleasant experience from Philips, Amazon has kindly agreed to return the product and issue refund.Seems manufacturing defect. The bracket for one of the hinges broke in the first use. Contacted Amazon, who gave Philips customer service. Raised complaint, but Philips says this is not covered, and will not honour third party sold products warranty.Deeply regret having purchased Philips.Can Amazon help?

Product was the right fit and match to replace my damaged jar. Initial jar received was damaged in transit. Replacement was in good condition and works as expected.
