Skullcandy Sesh Evo in-Ear Wireless Earbuds, 24 Hr Battery, Microphone, Works with iPhone Android and Bluetooth Devices - Bleached Blue

Update #2 (2025): Giving these five stars! I've been using my Skullcandy Sesh Evo In-Ear Wireless Earbuds for more than four years. They work well with my Android phone, my laptop and my desktop computer. The sound quality is very good, especially for music! Sometimes I just use one earbud when I need to hear what's going on around me (driving, watching grandkids, etc.) and they work well solo. I do wish they'd make a smaller version to fit my ears better, but my workaround is just being careful with what I'm doing while I wear them. No running, jumping, etc. with them in my ears. I do still get confused sometimes as to what the red and blue lights mean, and I had an issue for a while with just earbud working, but then I googled the manual and found a great video reminding me of what the lights mean, how to do the settings or reset, etc. Both working fine now! These earbuds are one of my best and favorite technology purchases! Thanks, Skullcandy! Update #1 (2021): I added an extra star because I've been using these earbuds for a while now and I really do like them, despite the fit issues. Original review (2020): I like a lot of things about these earbuds but they are enormous, and even with the smallest covers on, they fall out of my ears frequently. I'm still getting the hang of using them. The battery life seems really short. But they're my first wireless earbuds and I really appreciate not having cords!

I have been using this pair of earbuds every single day for typically 6 + hours a day for just shy of 3 years and they are still going strong. We're talking well over 7000 hours of use and I still reach for these over other, newer pairs. The battery life is just barely beginning to wane and not quite last as long as it used to. Considering I have been completely abusive to these poor things, I am shocked they lasted even one year, let alone three. I am not kidding. They went through a full wash and dry cycle in the laundry recently. I highly reccomend.

This is the 3rd time purchasing these. The first pair that I bought a few years ago worked great! Sadly though, they stopped charging in the dock & I ordered a new pair. That pair would intermittently disconnect from one side depending on movement. I was out of the return window on those. So...I ordered yet another pair. Upon opening the package, I placed the buds in the charger and one will not connect to charge (no red or blue light to activate connection). I've tried everything from cleaning the connection points to adjustment of seating...nothing. I'm really sad because these are affordable and have great sound quality...when they work, I just can't seem to get a pair that actually work anymore. I'm returning for replacement but I don't have high hopes for the last and final pair before spending yet more money on a different brand. :( Update 6-5: Customer service was very quick to send me a new pair & I returned the defective one. So far they're working great! Hopefully they last longer than the previous ones I've purchased. I'm upgrading to 4 stars for the speedy response & replacement.

I made the mistake of paying for these. They are an older model that looks great but the function is horrible. They constantly disconnect and reconnect all on their own like they are too far from the bluetooth device or something, but they are less than 10 feet away from the computer they are paired with and just randomly and frequently disconnect. It happens in the middle of music, movies, whatever, doesn't matter. I have external antennas for my computer bluetooth connection and I have tried moving those closer, moving them more out in the open with a better line of sight to the ear buds and nothing helps the disconnect issue. They are easy to pair, they can be used to take phone calls, they are a terrible value for the money since they are so buggy with staying connected. I for one like to listen to music for a long time and these will disconnect anywhere from every 2 minutes to as long as about 30 minutes, but they will for sure disconnect right in the middle of something and it will make no sense at all, they just do it all on their own. The charging case is cool and works well. The power status lights are good to show how much charging they have left in the holder. There are built in volume controls by touching the ear buds. You can also use just one ear bud at a time while the other is off or charging, if that's what you wanted to do. Now, I bought these because they were my very first wireless ear buds and I wanted name branded ear buds and the price was attractive. Now I know why they were 'on sale' as there is likely something wrong with this model/version of these. Read the reviews and almost all of them say how these disconnect. Out of all the wireless ear buds I have, these are literally the only ones that disconnect on their own. Also the battery drains much much faster than all of my other bluetooth earbuds which is odd because they don't push out loud audio or audio with heavy bass, they just die quickly listening to any music even at lower volume. Overall really disappointed in these skull candy ear buds, total waste of money and waste as I can't resell these to anyone else as they are garbage, so likely they will stay in my tech drawer at my desk and be used for guests or as emergency back up ear buds. Really though Ill likely never use these again as they are frustrating to use and I have much better functioning ear buds now!

TLDR: Great buds, better than raycons This is my second set of EVOs as I wore out my first set. First of all, the sound quality is bar none the best for the price. The bass is the perfect amount of thump, and the mid to highs are crisp. The hands free talking is just as enjoyable as the mike picks up my voice even at 70+ miles an hour on my motorcyle. Battery life is amazing as well with around 5 hours and if you get low all you need to do is plop them in the case for a few minutes and you get another hour or two of play. As for the sound mitigation, I use these while riding on the motorcycle, working in the yard, and even on the gun range and they work wonders. the ability to hook them to the tile app has saved me multiple times, often times dropping one somewhere in the house or in the garage and using Tile to help me quickly locate them. Comfort was another vital component and I'll say these are one of the best fitting buds I've worn, even better than expensive raycons, as once you put them in you quickly forget they are even in your ear. the only thing that I could say that is on the negative side, which isn't really a negative is that the case doesn't charge wirelessly but that's such a tiny negative it shouldn't even be counted

They are hard to pair with my iPhone. They had good sound while it lasted. They worked for about 6 weeks, then the right earbud stopped pairing. Then the left earbud stopped charging all. Wasted my money.

After my Indy EVO buds kicked the bucket, I was looking for another Skullcandy pair to replace them. So, I decided to try out the Sesh EVO because "why not?" The Sesh are a fantastic pair of wireless buds, and I much prefer them to the Indy. The quality is great for buds, they pack a surprising bass punch that I missed with the Indy and overall have a decent range all around. I use buds at work, one ear at a time, swapping when needed, and they pair individually just fine and then pair together just as intended if both are taken out of the case. The case was my main worry when first getting the Sesh, as I had become accustomed to the Indy case, but thankfully my worries faded. The case is sleek enough to fit in my pockets and doesn't bulge out as much as I thought. It takes a little effort to open, more than you would think, so I don't feel like there is a worry of the case opening while in a bag or similar. Even if that happened, the buds themselves stay in their charging spot very well, the magnets hold them in place with ease. In ear the buds sit comfortably just like any other, the ergonomics fit my large ears out of the box. One thing to note is that the control options on the buds themselves are a tactile press, not touch press like the Indy. So it takes a more deliberate action to pause or lower/raise the volume. Battery wise they last a decent chunk of time, there hasn't been a worry there. As for charging, the case itself charges very fast but the buds themselves take a bit long to fully charge up. So prepare to leave them in a little longer than you might want. Overall these buds do everything right and surprised me in places for their price. A definite wireless bud option that works great.
