The F1 World Championship at the British Grand Prix: 70 Years in Photographs

Great pictures.

I bought the book as a Christmas present. However, I would have been embarrassed to use this book as a gift.It's a shame given the subject matter it should have been so much better.

Some nicely reproduced pictures given the price but the book is let down by sloppy editing. The captions do not say a lot but some a plain wrong. So a picture of Bruce McLaren is labelled as Jim Clark and there are two near identical shots of the start of the 1953 British GP at Silverstone, one in b/w and the other in colour (also repeated on the cover of the book). One is correctly labelled as 1953, the other as 1954!

disappointing book which was returned for a refund the day it arrived.
