Railhookz 46inch Angled Clamp on Deck Rail or Fence Hanger

Those of you that have installed or rebuild your decks with 2" vinyl railing when installing composite decking like Trek or similar material and have not found any suitable hangers for hanging baskets or bird feeders this product is your answer. Years ago we were luck enough to purchase a couple of Aurora gardens Large Grabee shepherd's hooks only to find them basically disappear; these RailHookz are definitely your answer. I have looked for the past several years and have found nothing worth bragging about. Look no more; these are your answer. They fit perfectly on two inch regular wood or vinyl sleeved railings. They are on the expensive side but their construction is nicely done and with the powered paint coating and round steel construction, will far outlast and require much less maintenance down the road when/if they ever need repainting. I originally ordered three and just ordered three more. Shipping is steep but they are constructed with heavy gauge metal and are heavy and extremely sturdy. With 425 plus feet of multi layered decking, these hooks really spruce things up with hanging baskets or regular and humming bird feeders.

I purchased the Railhook through Amazon after I had spent a lot of time and money trying to find something which would attach to my deck and allow me to hang flower pots outside the deck. I tried several types and none worked on my railing. They all required a good deal of "adapting" and they often pulled out due to the heavy weight of the pots. The Railhook uses a clever attachment which fits very well on the railing spindles. This has worked great for me and looks very attractive. The only downside of this product is, of course, the rusting of the screws. Why can't manufacturers use better screws?

I've been looking forever for a product like this and it's perfectly designed! I needed something to hang my bird feeder on my deck without damaging my deck or putting holes in it (I'm a renter). This item is the best I have found on Amazon. It is sturdy, easy to install, does not damage my deck in any way and keeps my bird feeder at the perfect height! I wish it was a little cheaper but it's a real quality product and totally worth the money.

I use this hook on my deck for a large bird feeder. It is very sturdy...even when weighed down with 3 pounds of seed and numerous feathered friends. I have 3 different versions of these hooks and am pleased with their performance.

Amazon shipped the shorter item without telling me. I tried to use it but it's too short and when a full bird feeder is used the rail post warps from the weight. Don't bother; save your money.

My Dad wanted a bird feeder for his 3rd floor apartment. He has a small porch with a metal railing. This support was easy to attach and is very sturdy. We hung a small feeder and it is very secure.

Very solid construction and easy to clamp onto the deck. Perfect for the bird feeder and will last longer than me. Very good product.
