Delic!..Past Times
Has not changed to much, only decimal sterling/coins used today in money box in place of pence.Cadbury Neapolitan "mini" chocolates are still used,as when I was a young girl in England.I purchased item for a gift, only changed my mind,as Cadbury's Choc's,are sooo.. tempting, besides that, with the money box I can yet again, save some sterling when I go home to buy some more Cadbury Delights!... Memories of "Death by Chocolate"!!Super gift for all occasions,as in the U.S,one can buy them all throughout the year,as in past years in England, were only in shops during Christmastime.S.H.

Timeless Novelty
Forty years ago I had this on my Christmas list. I'm surprised that today it still makes an appearance on the lists of some children, so I purchased this for my niece. Bearing in mind this is a novelty, it is very plasticy and pretty cheaply made. But I guess it doesn't pretend to be anything else. The catch, as it were, is the cost of the refills. It comes with one pack, and I purchased a couple more to spare the parents the expense. As I couldn't find the miniatures in the shops, I resorted to the Cadbury's web site. Good grief! At a pence per gram ratio, that must be the most expensive chocolate I've ever bought. Oh well; it's only once a year.

Doesn't work
Got this for my little boy who was told he could choose a present for doing so well at school.....he was sooo excited to get this, however it came and straight away we had a few hiccups getting the chocolates to come out once the coin was put in........bit hit and miss to be honest, sometimes they come out and sometimes they don't.........also they keep getting stuck in the machine and jamming it.....bit of a let down and wouldn't reccommend.

choclate machine
This product brought back so many memories of Christmases past, I actually thought that they had stopped making them and was really pleased to find that they hadn't. I got one of these every Christmas when I was a child. I bought it as a reminder of my youth and how excited I was to receive this money box. Although when I had one they were only 2p to receive a treat now they are 10p. Inflation I guess.

Not so loved by others
My children had these when they were small and loved them, so I thought my grandchildren, aged 9 and 4,would love them just as much. Unfortunately, according to my daughter-in-law, the chocolates kept sticking half-way down and their fingers got stuck trying to get them out - so she threw them out!! Very disappointing as I thought they were quite expensive.

Fun decoration
Fun gadget for your room or your work. Everybody wants a chocolate to discover how it works and get the sweet. And you can use it as a money box. It'spossible to use with differents small chcocolate tablets, so check in your market next to you or confectionery shop.

Chocolate lover
I have bought this for my 6 year old grandson who is a chocoholic! I am sure he will love it but I hadn't realised how expensive or difficult to get the refills of chocolate miniatures would be!

Not worth buying
This is a good idea but we have now purchased 4 and none of them work properly, not something I would recomend our grandchildren just left them at our house. They will go for recycling which is about all they are fit for.

Good product, good value
Good present option or keep it yourself if your greedy, retro design and reminds an adult of being a kid, if you are a kid now disregard this as a positive.
