Good replacement lever
Put it in, installed the brake line, bleed the brakes. Bike stops. Works great

Hard to find part.
I was pleased to find this right side/rear brake lever available on Amazon at a reasonable (i.e., less than MSRP) price. For some reason the right side/rear brake lever is much harder to find online than the left side/front brake lever. No idea why that is. If someone knows the answer to that question, please chime in. This brake lever appears to be a genuine Shimano part and was a very easy install. Since I was only replacing the lever, and not the brake cable, I did not have to bleed my rear brake. Just needed to fill the oil reservoir on the brake lever and squeeze the brake lever many, many times until there were no more air bubbles. Videos showing installation available on YouTube.

Had an integrated shifter/brake setup and wanted to switch out to separates. This fit the bill and the price was right. Would buy again if in the same position.

Perfect fit. If you pre-fill the reservoir and keep it vertical when attaching the brake line. You probably won't have to bleed the brakes at all!
