I was thoroughly impressed with these Dtocs brand palm leaf plates. They are extremely durable. They are strong and rigid and hands down beat out the finest of paper plates. I was also surprised at the depth of the plate. It’s not something I normally think about, but you can’t ignore the depth of the plate. You won’t have food slipping off the edges. It makes them so versatile. Finally, these things just look classy. They have the look of a very light wood that gives them a high-end appeal. You would be proud to use these at a dinner party. They are sure to impress and definitely garner more than a few compliments from guests. Better serve something delicious; you want what’s on the menu to be as impressive as the plate it’s being served on!

Purchaed these for family Christmas celebration at a hall for ~30 people where we were having prime rib, baked potatoes, salads, dessert ... and they were great. Nice and sturdy for the prime rib with au jus and all the sides. No one cut through the plate like you would with paper. And much better for the earth than plastic. We'll be getting these again for next year.

I really liked the product and would have given it 4 stars, however the packaging was busted open and the plates were barley held together by a band. With these being used for food it was a little upsetting that the plates were not sealed properly. The plates were for a dinner party and I didn't have time to return them in time..

I got these a few weeks ago, but only used them recently when my mother in law came to town. We had a BBQ night and no one felt like doing dishes so I pulled these out.These are VERY sturdy, perfect for heavy meals like steak or BBQ. We were able to walk around and hold them with one hand on the side while serving plates. You didn’t need to hang on for dear life or balance it on your palm while serving up dinner.There are grooves in the plate, but it really adds to the character of the plate and they didn’t impede our ability to eat anything from meat to side salads. The material didn’t come up when you scratch your fork across the surface. If anything the texture makes it easier for kiddos to eat their food since it’s not sliding around all over.The best part, my mother in law LOVED these plates. I didn’t think much about them but she was picking them up, turning them over, asking what they were made out of and where I got them. When I told her they were made from palm leaves - she swore that she was going to stock these in her condo when it’s finished. She hosts book clubs and dinner parties - constantly entertaining — so these are probably better/more attractive than the other disposable options on the market.The obvious awesomeness about these is the environmental aspect of them. I really don’t feel too badly when I throw them out. It feels like I’m throwing part of a tree away (but not like over-processed paper). These probably aren’t the cheapest disposables, but if you’re looking for something that has zero issues and is attractive, this is a for sure winner. Definitely try them out.

These plates are one-of-a-kind, truly, because each one is different from the next. Though these plates are durable and hardy, they are styled so that you can leave them out on a dining room table and they act as practical decor. The bamboo style is amazing for outdoor parties especially for the summer and has been a huge hit lately as the sun has started to emerge again. I have gotten so many compliments on these plates–they look so organic and natural but they are smooth and sturdy so as to not splinter or impair the food.The circle shape is wide enough to be made for entrees as well as a cheese platter as pictured, but it can also hold a bowl at the center with plenty of room for chips on the perimeter. The 10 inch size is great for any kind of entertainment or pot luck. They go with any style as well, so if you already have a summer plate set, they will blend in seamlessly.These plates are light and packable which makes them great for picnicking. If you are looking to evolve your next dishware for the new season, start here! I highly recommend this set for a fashionista or for someone who just plain loves food!
