Disappointed
They aren't as good as I thought they would be

Extremely easy to use, goes several sessions on a single charge
This is quite effective as a TENS unit. It is dual use item - it can be used for TENS to relieve pain, or it can be used as an electical muscle stimulator to build muscles. I have tried it as both. Switching between the two modes is as easy as pressing a button. The controls are very intuitive. I didn't even have to read the manual to get started. They are just very straightforward. The main parts of this device consist of the control unit, and 2 stimulator pods. All of these 3 things are rechargeable, so you are never tethered to cords. It also comes with an assortment of sticky contact pads. These snap on to the pods on the back. The manual is important though - inside it will advise you on which programs and settings to use to accomplish your goals. For instance, in the EMS program, you might choose a setting for warm up, build strength, build endurance, or cool down. I have tried EMS before that stuck on my stomach but this is SO much better. It's possible to absolutely watch TV, talk on the phone - about anything, using this device, whereas the large stick on one that is shaped like your stomach muscles requires you to lay down and be immobile while using it. This is MUCH better overall. Also, it seems to work much better on my body which is larger than the form on the large stick on. In addition, this can be put on calves, arms- you can put it on any muscle group you wish to build or improve. The higher intensity settings become uncomfortable to me, and definitely make my muscles twitch. It's easy to start low and turn them up though. I can't say that this will deliver great results in building muscles, but I can say that when I use it, my muscles will get tired like I have used them, and seem to go through a recovery phase. However, instead of it being a very large group of sore, tired muscles like I get with exercise, this wears out smaller, more focused areas.

Easy to use & great for sore muscles!
I own another tens unit, and have tried a couple others as well, but this is the first unit I’ve tried with EMS as well as being wireless. The reason I ordered it is because I feel attaching the wires to the electrodes can be a hassle and time consuming, especially when using a tens unit numerous times a day for pain. I also think the EMS sounds helpful to use before & after workouts.Set up is pretty simple once you learn the remote, but you will need to read the directions before using the first time. I like that it’s easier to put on yourself than a wired unit, especially when placing on your back. Certain areas of the back are still hard to reach, however not impossible to put on yourself. Unlike wired machines, which lay flat, the wireless has receivers that you attach to the electrodes. This makes the wireless units a bit bulkier, especially if using under clothing. As far as choosing between EMS or Tens, it’s very simple to choose which to use on the remote. From there, you can choose between 8 preset options for the tens unit and 6 presets for the EMS (See photos I attached). If you’re using the device for pain relief, you’re going to choose the tens unit. If you’re wanting to reduce inflammation, or increase blood flow to muscle before & after exercise, you’ll choose the EMS device. They’re very similar, but each has its own function. The EMS should contract the muscle whereas the tens unit should not.If you’re looking to own both an EMS and a tens unit, I recommend buying this combination unit instead of having to use 2 separate units. It’s convenient to have just 1 unit & easier to use without having to attach wires to each electrode. The only cons I have found to this unit, is I feel it should’ve come with more electrodes for the price & I wish the receiver was a little less bulky.Overall, it’s a great unit and I highly recommend it!

Surprisingly Effective!
I have used both TENS and EMS units separately, this is the first time that I have actually had a unit that combines the 2 separate techniques. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked so effectively on both separate settings. It’s also super easy to switch back and forth between the two styles, which has its advantages. The entire unit is well-designed and comes with everything you need for easy, wireless setup, although I admit that I wish it came with more than the limited number of pads that it does come with.It is super easy to use, even without reading the instructions. I do like that the instruction book does go into details about not only what each setting can be used for on either side of the unit’s ability, but also, for a noob, it explains what you should be feeling at each level setting, taking the guesswork out of it! I have found it to be very effective for my needs, and can see this being well put to use.

Works amazingly! Quality parts. Just one UI flaw.
So, I love this device! I recently have been obsessed with TENS and have been using several devices. This is my first wireless one and it did not disappoint! Paired instantly. I was concerned with the large puck receiver weighing the pads and making them fall off...NOT THE CASE! The pods are very lightweight and the pads are SUPER STICKY!!! I was blown away with how sticky the pads are. It also includes wires, so you can (i.e.) keep the puck in your pocket and have the pads on you leg.My only issue is with the UI (User Interface)... It is a little cumbersome getting through the modes and settings. Wish it was larger and had more buttons or touch screen like other ones I've used. Secondly the +/- of the strength isn't instantly accessible, you have to toggle through the settings to get back to it. Wish it had a dedicated +/- strength buttons.Overall, that UI issue hasn't dampened my experience. Love the freedom of wires. Pads are high quality and modes are great.
