They work and were not expensive.

I purchased this product twice, the first order was 3x3 or 9 units, and the second significantly more, for business use. Upon first use, though somewhat difficult to use the child safety lock, the lighter seemed adequate, particularly considering the low price point. I use the lighters daily at home to light stove and bbq. I never got a chance to refill a lighter. About 5 months after purchase, only two of the original 9 still function, mainly because the piezo electric spark generator failed. I have used this or very similar lighter in past years, with better results. Perhaps this was a bad batch. Very frustrating when one needs a flame pronto and the unit in hand fails. Will not purchase again.
