This is my favorite organization box I’ve ever bought! The latches are VERY strong and it’s so compact! The box itself is constructed very tough! Love it!

Absolutely perfect for SMD components. Very efficient use of space. Extremely secure and robust feeling. Compartments all latch very tightly and don't feel like they'll ever wear out (they're separate pieces of plastic, not just a cheap malleable molded hinge). Capacity is great too, easily fits 1000 0603 capacitors (pictured). Having the rows be 6x12 is a very nice organizational bonus too, since that allows for either E6 or E12 series values to be arranged in a nice neat grid. I bought one of each variant to see how I liked these but I'll definitely be buying more and recommending these to other techy friends.

UPDATE: Found individual sheets of labels on the manufacturer's website. They are a custom size and apparently aren't listed on Amazon anywhere, so you'll have to head there to find them. Once I got them, this little component box is positively a GODSEND for sorting and storing SMD components, especially when the only indication of what they are is on the cut tape. Review updated to five stars.While the box itself is extremely well-made and clearly designed thoughtfully for SMD components, according to what I selected, it was supposed to come with a sheet of labels so you could mark each compartment. It wasn't in the box when I received the item, and while it might seem silly that a $3.00 sheet of labels was missing, when the compartments are as small as these are, you kinda need them. Pretty frustrating when you're dealing with a gajillion components that are smaller than a grain of rice.

Amazingly cheap and the flaps have abc-123 codes that are all out of order and many reversed.What’s the hype?

This is NOT some cheap piece of plastic. Secure latching on both the case and each container is utmost important with SMD components. Each one of these containers has a defined "click" when opening and closing. The case itself is heavy duty with a nice latch that cannot accidentally open.The only downside is taking all the time to populate this case!
