Healthy and much cheaper here than in the grocery store
I recently became a pescatarian and this fits very well into my diet. This contains all healthy and organic ingredients, and it’s not loaded with sodium like regular soups. It is a bit on the bland side so I add some black pepper, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and a couple pinches of Romano cheese and it tastes great and is still relatively low in sodium. It’s also low calorie and low fat, and buying it here is convenient and much cheaper per can than buying in the grocery store.

AMY'S LOW SODIUM PEA SOUP
I ordered the following Amy's Low Salt Products: Lentil Soup, Pea Soup, Minestrone Soup, and Medium Chili. All of them are great. If you are just now switching to Low salt or no salt you may find them to be bland until your body adjusts to the lowered salt intake (that could take months or up to a year). The biggest complaint most have is the dented cans. My Minestrone and Chili came in without any dents, the Pea Soup had 2 dented cans and the Lentils had dents in every can. These dents are not caused by shipping. All of my shipments came in with the packages totally intact with no signs that the outer shipping box had been roughed up in shipment. These dents are caused by Amazon or Amy's warehousing. The cans are not in boxes, they are shrink wrapped so when stacked the cans are actually bearing the weight. Too much weight and the cans begin to buckle and this buckling will look like dents. You can also get this same effect if the warehousemen are slamming the 12 pack cans down hard on top of each other. This happens when workers in the warehouse get tired and become careless, are untrained, or just plain don't care about their job. If you want to feel better then stay on a low salt diet, if you have ankle swelling then get on a low salt diet and get checked for congestive heart failure. If you have high blood pressure get on a low salt diet and then increase your intake of magnesium. Backing off your salt is not easy as it begins to change the way you taste food but if you stay with it and get off the high salt diet you will begin to taste food and not just the salt. Have you ever eaten at a restaurant where the cook's salt intake is so high that the cook can't tell if he has too much salt in the food he is preparing? I have more than once and it just destroys the meal. Instead of buying 12 cans now try the Amy's Low Salt by getting it at your local health food store one can at a time then if you like order from Amazon and save. Right now they have a 25% discount code when you order. Write it down and use it as it saved me a few bucks. Hope this review helps you.

Healthy and tasteless
There is probably no real reason this soup is twice the price of other split pea soup. But if you're looking to eat healthy, it is hard to beat. It doesn't taste like much, but that's what you signed up for when you bought low sodium split pea soup. The cans always come beat up, but so far nothing unusable.

Spare Piglet, Miss Piggy and Wilbur...oh my.
It is not easy to find a Split Pea soup that doesn't have Miss Piggy in it...and frankly, I'm just too lazy to make my own split pea soup I buy the lower sodium when the regular is not available. Frankly, the soup is tasty. It is a thick soup and great value as it a meal by itself when you just want something light but not...you know...another salad. I like that it's vegan and no Piglet or Miss Piggy or Wilbur [Charlotte's Web] were harmed to produce this product...whew.

Flavorful and Wholesome
This soup is about as close to homemade as I've found. It has a rich pea flavor, slightly rustic texture, and just a touch of saltiness. I like adding a bit more salt, fresh ground pepper, a touch of olive oil, and some buttered croutons. It's a winner.

Watered down soup
I have eaten this soup for years but the last batch I bought from Amazon is a different recipe. It's very watery and not as good. I think I might try to buy it in the store to see if it is the same. Also, several cans arrived badly dented.

Save these Lives, they matter!!!
From Bro@home July 8, 2016 I will start by saying that I cannot be as kind with my words as other reviewers on this book Revolutionary Grandparents. I have read this book twice and both times the writers have brought me to tears. What they have faced as Grandparents and many as primary caregivers is beyond comprehension. As you read this book, you will come to the realization that these children never asked or deserved the life they face daily. Every story is about a broken lives and their struggle to recover those precious years lost. The stories of these grandparents, is indeed a revolution that shall continue. As long as we live in a society with a corrupted system of government, a medical and insurance system fraught with greed, a Pharmaceutical industry, that for years has lied to us all and influenced the medical industry and the laws we all must live with, there will be the parents, grandparents and families to continue the revolution. I personally know a Grandmother for whom I have deep respect. In the past ten years, she has given up her life to be the guardian and caregiver of her grandson. She writes poetry about the sadness and hope for Grandson's future. She boggles my mind at how she manages to survive against a system of Government and Medicine that dictate their lives. The lack of compassion in this system has a tremendous impact on their lives. In reality, the system has destroyed any semblance of normal life they should expect and deserve. As so many parents and grandparents in the Autism community live this life from hand to mouth, she is no exception. This book is necessary reading for every parent and grandparent and should be a part of your library and your daily discussion. Buy copies and give them as your loving way to educate all those you care about and love. As a 79-year-old grandparent, I recall about 20 some years past, my only Grandson was diagnosed as ADHD. At the time, we had no clue regarding how he became afflicted. After reading this book, I now know the likely cause was vaccine injury. Fortunately, he has recovered and is now a responsible young man able to live a normal life. One more thing in closing, go see the documentary movie "VAXXED" showing in many Regal theatres throughout the country. A 90-minute reality check on vaccine injury, and the impact on the innocent children of the world and our country. Friend of the "Thinking Moms Revolution".
