Great value
Did you know Norwegians go bananas for their wool? Like, they'll spend $4,000 kroners on one sweater. But you know why? Wool is warm when it's cold out, comfortable when it's warm out, and rain is not a big deal. A cheap wool sweater has the same effect as an expensive one (although it might not last as long); this sweater is great for layering when the weather's unpredictable. TIP: If this is your first wool sweater, you gotta know this essential tip: Wash it at least once or twice before wearing to make it less scratchy, especially around the neck. Wash in COLD WATER and don't even think about drying it in a dryer. Just lay it flat so it'll keep it's size and shape.

Its a wool sweater under 40$ and should last a year or two.
I am a 36" chest and I intentionally got a XXL after many reviews saying how easily they shrunk it by accident. I washed it on hot, and tumble dried on hot for about 35 minutes. It did not shrink a lot, but just enough to be a med or lg. It fits baggy enough to layer a long sleeve and vest under if desired, but not so baggy that it floats out and catches on anything when worn alone. I sometimes do this with some wools because it usually tightens up the weave, and also increases thickness and durability a bit.It is a bit thin, but fairly warm. It does pill a lot but I do not care; I just mention it for those who dress as fashion rather than function. In the 6 weeks I have had it it has pilled so much that I think (and hope) it may eventually felt after a while, which is usually a property of stiffer and coarser wools like shetland, but this is very soft and supple. That is if the elbows do not wear out as fast as I think they are already indicating. it is already getting thin there, but I expected as much from a "chinese made- for amazon" 25$ wool sweater. Some reviews say the dye bleeds and transfers, so I got a light, close to natural wool color and had no issues.I just wanted something cheap to try and compare. Its nice to have a cheap "beater" but I doubt it will last long. All brands are rapidly going downhill, so this sweater is close to avg quality and a decent price. I may get another just to cut up and sew into a pair of heavyweight thermal sweater-pants. I won't do that with my good wools unless one of them develops an issue I can't fix and that is not happening so far.I love wool, I wear it all year, almost daily. I have Filson, Swanndri, Pendelton, MKM and they are quality garments that may last a lifetime, but cost much more. Especially the us made. I often order wool from NZ or AU and have never been disappointed with my purchase compared to us brands. However, I can get 2 of these for about 60$ and not have to chance that customs opens it (you then have to pay customs). But also, amazon delivery (actually the handling/ fulfillment) usually takes longer than my overseas orders (tried prime without change in process/ ship times). So I have lots of quality wools, but this sweater is still getting worn.I may just spend the 30-35 on ebay or a thrift store next time, but the sweater is probably worth it. I would just rather have items I know will last a few seasons and not intentionally support a company founded on the intention of a global monopoly.

My son LOVES this!
My teenage son loves this, and feels dressy, cool and trendy in it! Lol. He wants to wear it at least once a week. Fabric balls up/pills very easy and I have to use the sweater shaver before each wear. Try not to wash very often, because it loses its quality quickly.

Very nice sweater
This i a very nice sweater, especially for the price (Goodthreads Men's Lambswool Crewneck Sweater). I am glad it comes in crew neck, I do not like the V neck style sweaters (which were more popular years ago, almost everything came in V neck since men used to wear ties more often back then). The only ting I wished for is if this sweater came in a thicker style (even 3 or 4 times as thick would be good), I don't wear sweaters unless it is extreme cold/wet conditions outside. So with this sweater I will need to keep on my fleece jacket as well in the office (I have a 100 weight fleece jacket which isn't warm enough in the winter, but I couldn't find a heavier thicker fleece jacket (200 or 300 weight), in my size which is 3XL (XXXL), which is why I needed to order a sweater as well.

Leading brands can't compete any longer
So, I have been a loyal purchaser of sweaters made by Eddie Bauer, Lands End and LLBean for decades, in the past 5 years these bands have started to blend polyester with wool. This is especially true for EB, and LE and it is horrible. Polyester blends pill more easily and do not last as long as 100% wool. I bought this GoodThreads sweater in Olive, size 2XL Tall, I am 6ft 4 inches and weight 265lbs, so I am a very big man, my shoulders are particularly broad it is a problem when I buy clothing from most retailers which is why I have in the past turned to retailers that specialize in tall sizes. This sweater is slightly on the large size for me, however it is not billowy large, so it looks very nice, and a benefit is I can get a flannel shirt under it if I like. I paid $28 dollars for this sweater and it is the best deal I have gotten on a 100% wool sweater ever. I am completely satisfied and have ordered another one in Navy, I am paying $35 for it and feel that it is still a very-good deal at that price. I would say the thickness of this sweater is slightly thinner than other sweaters I own that are similar, but only slightly so, it is still thick enough and warm enough and most importantly it does not feel cheap. If you want to up the quality of sweaters that you wear on a budget this is how you can do it. Also, as a side note, if you are not familiar with owning wool, it is worth watching a video or reading up on how to care for it, you CANNOT just toss it in the wash. Fortunately, because of its antibacterial qualities wool does not need to be cleaned more than once or twice a season. But… when it does need to be washed you should gently hand wash it and let it dry flat. I will update on the wear and tear of this sweater at the end of the season or early next year.

Runs small
Nice, thick sweater but runs at least one size smaller than normal.

My Large was WAY too small
I'm 5'8", 180lb. This olive green L, made in China, was way way too small. I have a closet full of sweaters ranging between M and L that all fit right. I have never tried on a Large that was this small and tight. It's a shame because the lambswool fabric was soft and supple, very nice, and the color was great, spot on compared to the photo. But the size - honestly is this a woman's or boy's sizing system?

Good buy
Really warm and comfy, produces 0 smell due to wool fibre meaning rarely need to wash it. Only issue is its more of an oversized fit rather than tapered which isn't my style.

Bonne qualité, ne peluche pas
Facile d'entretien, passe à la machine à froid, sèche vite sur cintre sans se déformer. Après quelques mois, reste toujours beau et confortable. Respirant.

Buen material, viene amplio
Me gustó el producto, es ligero pero cálido. Lo malo es que viene amplio. De la misma marca soy talla M en camisa, aquí me quedó grande.

Great quality sweater for a great price!
I got the sweater for less than 40 bucks. At that price it is an absolutely perfect sweater. The only issue was my fault. I ordered a medium tall and my sweater is a little long in the body and arms but hey for 40 bucks I’m not complaining. I am 5‘,9“ tall and 153 pounds heavy.
