Great tuner, bang for your buck, works great on my truck for a year now

For all people who bought this and could not get it to work. Before sending it back because it wont work or connect to your trucks computer, the main reason for this could be it has been sold and hooked up to someone truck and they couldn't get it to work and sent it back so the company finding no fault repackages and sends out new again. if this happens to you like it did me go to settings and do a factory reset cause if its still has the other persons truck info in it that wil keep it from working like it did me. After going to settings and doing a factory reset it works like a dream and i really like it.

I upgraded to the Insight from a CTS2 Evolution Diesel Programmer. I did so because I found I programmed like 4 times and then for the next 7 years, everyday, I just used the CTS2 for monitoring key diesel data (like EGT, Boost, and Urea Level) and occasionally read / cleared trouble codes. The CTS 3 Insight is newer, slimmer, and does all those things I used the CTS2 reliably for years. I don;t really mind not programming anymore. Bonus, I didn't even have to rewire the truck, as the cables were the same, and I just plugged the new CTS3 Insight right in to the old ones. Even the window suction clip is the same. So now I have a spare. I think these are expensive, but I use it everyday, and it does the job easily. So I'm ok with the cost. Tech support is great. The one time I had an issue with my older CTS2, I sent it back and they replaced whatever was broken on my unit, and returned it for free. Very quickly. Its a good company. One issue I do have with the new one is a bit of a nit, but its not as easy to configure the screens / PIDs on it. On my still working CTS2, you just press on a gauge and a list of PIDs is presented to replace the one you pressed. Done. On the CTS 3, there is some menu and screen configuring required. Not too hard, just more busy, and certainly requiring you to stop the vehicle to do it.

Update, 8 months after purchasing, the monitor had stopped working, and support runs me around in circles, you need to talk to this person, no you need to talk to the other person. I give up all the money down the drain. It’s unfortunate that Holly owns this company. I’ve had this edge cts3 plus $1500 worth of addons on my Fummins for months now and the suction cup mount is so poor that no matter how well you clean both surfaces and try to stick it on it will fall off, the cam lock is so poorly made it is not pulling far enough on the suction mount for it to actually have suction and it’s such an easy fix but it irritates me so much because for the first time it fell and scratched my screen and must’ve messed up something inside because it saved some of my gauge settings and forgot others. Extremely disappointed to spend all of this money and end up with a poor product, I have multiple edge products and it seems as if reliability goes down with the newer the products are. It would’ve been cheaper to buy a complete digital dash.

Awesome monitor for all things related to your vehicle, I chose this over competitors such as the banks idash because the screen in my opinion looks nicer and offers more real estate for gauges.

Works perfectly on my 2001 Ford F-350 Dually 7.3, only draw back is it does not read the fuel level at all.

Works perfect! Put it on my E99 7.3 after installing a KC Turbo and injecors.

Great product

Product would be excellent if it worked with Australian vehicle. I bought one and it wouldn’t work with a Ford falcon

The monitor jamming, overheating, screen not responding and act crazy changing the layout by it self sliding, editing,beeping without even touched and over price for a defective product.

The monitor works as should!! like the mount. Bought for the visuals of readings of sensors so that I can keep an eye on fuel pressure and such.

After updating the device everything worked flawlessly. I highly recommend updating from the edge website using their software connecting the included usb to your desktop or laptop. You will save ALOT of time trust me.. the update is MUCH faster that way. Overall Satisfied with the cts3 🔥
