Q: Will this o-ring go onto pentair triton II tr-100 sand filter where the sand gets inserted in?

No. The gasket you make reference to is for a multi-Port assemble.

Q: Will this fit the lid of a pentair tr100?

No. This is designed for use with the Commercial filter models, TR100C and TR140C, but not the TR100. I believe the TR100 uses a part number 154493, but please consult your filter manual to identify the appropriate part number for your filter.

Q: Does this oring need a lubricant when installing ?

Yes, we used Aqua EZ o-ring lubricant.
