Water tastes great and filter won't need replacing for a long time 🎉
I'm using this filter in combination with a dedicated drinking water faucet (installed next to the main faucet) so as to only filter water meant for consumption, as opposed to all water which is just... wasteful, to put it nicely. 😁 Even if the filter doesn't last the advertised 20,000 gallons, I'll probably be dead before I need to replace it.Pros:✔️ Water tastes great✔️ Large filter lasts a long time ➡ less waste✔️ 3/8" water line doesn't restrict flow✔️ Includes tubing and fittings*(*) There are many shut-off valve and faucet thread sizes out there, and it'd be wasteful to include fittings for every possible combination. If the bundled adapters don't fit your setup, be prepared to make a trip to the hardware store.Cons:❌ Cartridge is difficult to insert; you really have to push up hard❌ No template for positioning the screws that hold up the bracket❌ No certifications to back up performance or longevity claimsMy only goal with this system was convenient, unlimited access to good-tasting water, so while the filter isn't certified and there's no telling how good it truly is at removing "contaminants," I personally couldn't care less. The flavor of tap water in my area fluctuates between OK, algae and chlorine throughout the year, and my water now tastes great. 🎉

absolutely fabulous no more bottled water
i have been buying bottled water and filters for a water pitcher for years now and i am kicking myself for not getting an under sink filter sooner.starting off i would like to say that i work in apartment maintenance, and have installed many faucets, shower and bath fixtures and water heaters.ease of installation was not as easy as i would have hoped for. i have standard fittings for my sink, not one of the fittings fit my plumbing. i had to go to my shop to get the correct parts. did not make me happy.after getting the correct fittings i was able to install the filter without a problem.i ran the faucet for the recommended time about 3 minutes, and then tasted the water. large smile and happy taste buds. i pored a glass from the bathroom faucet and compared the two glasses. after letting the floaties settled i decided not to taste the bathroom water. i already had good water from the kitchen sink.happy with the resultsnot happy with the wrong plumbing fittingsoverall i will enjoy this new filter for months to come and save a lot of money not buying bottled water. everyone should have one under their sink

Large filter, clean water.
This under sink water filter comes with a handful of fittings, hardware and mounting base. Before installation, you’ll want to turn off the incoming water either at the valve under the sink, or the water main. If you already have another filter installed and this one is replacing it, there’s a good chance most of the install work is done; You may get away with a 5 minute install with the provided push to connect fittings. If this is a new install, and depending on your undersink plumbing situation, you may need to source one or two fittings from the hardware store in order to match up to the filter fittings. Coming right out or the water pipe, this kit has several thread sizes to match up to their push to connect fittings and provided hard flexible tubing. After you’ve adapted your incoming fittings to push to connect, you simply push the provided tubing into the filter housing on one end, out the other side and mate up to your sink’s cold water supply. Now every time you turn on the cold water, you get clean drinking water. One thing to double check before fully walking away from the job: make sure all the fittings are tight and leak free. Even a small leak can build up over time and it only takes a few seconds to double check all the fittings.Overall the filter did a great job filtering water. The sink application I used it for had a special set up because it has hot/cold/drinking water. So I had to tee off of the incoming cold water, route through the water filter and up to supply the drinking water. So you may see some hoses and fittings pictured that you won’t have to worry about. So far the filter has worked well. Having only Britta to compare it with, I’d say the filtered water coming out of this filter tastes as good or better the Britta, and it flows mich faster than table top pitcher filters. Would recommend.

So far works great
This was installed in our travel trailer as a better way to filter water when we're at a campground and hooked up to their water supply which is usually from a hose. Having an under-the-sink filter is a much better option than a filter pitcher which takes up valuable counter space. Anyone who camps knows that this a premium. We first used this filter last week for a weekend camping trip, and the difference in water quality was definitely noticeable. The taste of plastic from the hose hookup was gone and there was zero sediment. It's a time saver when cooking to no longer have to filter water so frequently, and it's nice having the counter space back. It took about 45 minutes to install, but that was because he had to make some minor adjustments due to where it was being installed. He said it was a straightforward installation, even with having to figure out where to securely attach the filter as there aren't any of the usual support option in a freestanding island in a camper like there is underneath a sink surrounded by cabinets and wall with studs behind it.If you're looking for an option to improve the quality of your water without installing a whole-house system, or want an option for just a particular sink, this seems like a good filter. It claims to be good for 24-36 months or 8,000 gallons, so this should last us quite a long time.
