Can you use brown paper tape with this?

It comes with the brown tape 6 rolls

Will any brown parcel tape fit this dispenser?

I used all the tape reels that came with the dispenser then bought some in hardware shop and they fitted. Maybe take the dispenser with you when buying more tape rolls just to make sure. It was the best thing I bought when packing for our house move.

Can this tape be used to keep table legs together during our move or will it leave an unsightly difficult residue

I would not recommend it on light colours, as i taped several items for our house move and spent an hour removing the residue from a white bathroom cupboard.....it still hasn’t come off the microwave plate even with sticky stuff removet, it’s terrible for leaving residue, be warned!

Does it have blade cover and how can i take it off

No it doesn't have blade cover .it comes packed very well blade will not cut you.
