The oil isnt as shiny as other oils. The balm is not good for your beard if your looking to style or hold in place.

I have tried a number of beard balms before getting to this one. Other beard balms are either too oily or too sticky and dont hold very well. This stuff does have oil present but it doesnt make my facial hair feel oily. It softens up the hairs and helps them to stay in place. Nothing I have tried works flawlessly for hold but this does a good job and feels best. Plus the smell is amazing! Both the vanilla and sandlewood have a great smell that last throughout the day. Mixed with the right cologne I feel like the guy on the old spice commercial lol. Good stuff try it!
