Levi'sWomen's Classic Straight Jeans

First, I must say I am not a blue jeans type of gal. I usually show up on every occasion overdressed! However, my daughter wanted updated family photos, and everyone decided that jeans and a white t-shirt would work best. Reluctantly, I purchased Levi's Women's Classic Straight Jeans.To my surprise, these jeans were amazing! They wear true to size and fit perfectly. As a plus-size woman, I expected to feel stiff and stuffed, but that was not the case. I felt comfortable and confident, even adding a few accessories to maintain my well-dressed flair.These jeans were so comfortable and flattering that I ended up buying them in assorted color washes. This was my first-time buying bottoms on Amazon, and I was impressed. The "try before you buy" option was particularly convenient.Levi's Women's Classic Straight Jeans provided a new and pleasant experience with jeans. They helped me blend in for the group photo while still feeling like myself. If you are hesitant about jeans, try these—you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was!

There is a nice stretch to these jeans, and don't feel so stiff. I have a short torso so high waisted jeans really aren't flattering. These sit nicely on the hips!

According to the size chart I needed to get a size 30. I thought they fit well when I got them, just a little loose for breathability, but still curve hugging. So I accepted them and put them in the wash. I started wearing them, and they started loosening, by the end of the day they were falling off. I started wearing them with a belt, but they're still rather baggy and unflattering. They're also short, barely coming down to the top of my feet. So I decided to try buy them again, but a smaller size, so I got 28 long, 2 sizes smaller, against the advice of the size chart. I received them and tried them on, they seemed to fit perfectly, but remember when I first tried the larger pair on I thought they looked and felt good too. After wearing them for 30 minutes, they started loosening. Now when I sat down, I get this weird loose fabric in the pelvic area. The crotch is saggy, and my belly under the higher waistband is very accentuated and noticable (I'm thinking because of the stretchiness?) The long size is perfect though. I'm thinking I must need an even smaller size! Either that or the jeans have so much stretch that they're unwearable. I'm holding out for them to go on sale again so I can try the next size down.Edit 1/23I was able to get the size 27 long, and they fit just right! They are still stretchy, so when when my weight fluctuates up a bit, they stretch and still fit well. While it still loosens throughout the day, this size doesn't seem to feel like it's falling off me like the others. They also still fit well and not too tight when I'm having a bloated day. They are super comfortable, they are the pair I gravitate towards when picking out jeans to wear for the day.

I have never had jeans that are so soft, comfortable and stretchy but these are! To me they do run a little big, so if you're trying to decide between 2 sizes I would go with the smaller one. I am 5'1" and 180lbs. and wear a 16 short. That is what I ordered. I had hoped they would shrink a little when washed but they stretch back out. I can still wear them but wish I had bought the 14S and may still buy a pair in that size.

I ordered a 12 short and they fit me comfortably, I have ordered Levi’s off their site sometimes they fit, sometimes they don’t, getting them from Levi’s on sale there is no returns. I wish they had more colors in stock, I would buy a few colors.

Yeah, I’m a GenXer who likes her skinny jeans. That being said, I got these just to round out my wardrobe. They’re pretty good. These are the lighter shade of blue which I like, but the straight leg seems a little wide — they’re more like a cross between straight leg and boot cut (which I don’t like). Then rise is also a little short for me, but not too bad (I’m 5’4” but have a long torso). They really remind me of the jeans I wore around 2005, which isn’t saying much. At least they aren’t super low rise. Anyway, like all Levi’s, sizing is a crapshoot. I got a smaller size in this color and need a larger size in a darker color for the same style. Go figure. Also, after wearing this pair a time or two, they stretch out a bit, so I could have gone down a smaller size — so that would be two sizes smaller than the darker pair. And the lengths of the jeans are off by an inch, even though I ordered the same inseam size for both. Levi’s are made well and look pretty good on, so order a couple different sizes to find your best fit. At 5’4” and 140 lbs, this style jeans make me look shorter and a little dumpy, even if the fashion influencers (not experts) try to tell us otherwise. But … I have them for when I’m feel like wearing them.

I had 4 pairs of these jeans in size 12 regular and they were very comfortable. But I lost 15 pounds and began a search for new jeans. Size 10 were too big (I'm a 10 in the Wedgie) I ordered a size 8S. It fit well but the calf area was more like a skinny jean. Had to return. When I order again, I think the 8 regular will work. It's just a tad too long, but not to the point of needing hemming. For reference, I am 5'4', 150 pounds with a pear shape.

The fit is good, but the fabric feels a bit stiff, so not quite as comfortable as I was hoping. I bought them almost a year ago and they are wearing well. No issues with the color or fading. A bit of a gap in the back, but not awful.

Classic cut Levi’s jeans, straight leg but not skinny, waistband sits at my waist. Fit is a tiny bit generous (to my surprise, since my measurements match the size chart exactly) but not so generous as to be sloppy. Fabric is more stretchy than I had expected. Someone who’s a size larger than me tried them on and while they could be done up, the jeans looked way too tight on her. Result: if you’re at or a little bigger than the size chart, you’ll be fine with the stated size.
