This WORKS on an Itchy Scalp
ABBA shampoos are THE BEST for those of us who have itchy scalps. It seems to be the only thing that works for my son and I. Scratching his head had gotten to be a noticeable mannerism he developed. I have noticed that he doesn’t do that anymore since I sent him his own shampoo and conditioner. I haven’t been able to get ABBA products in my city for many years. It is DEFINITELY worth ordering, especially if you are plagued with an itchy scalp. The color protect has the best reviews. Order it, colored hair or not, and see if it solves an itchy problem for you, too.

Peculiar Smell
I used ABBA years ago and it was a wonderful product! Silky hair and shine, nice light fragrance. I have been using Biolage, Humectress/Nexxus and Paul Mitchell-"The Conditioner" which was a great combo but having run out, I was shopping for a sale and spotting ABBA at a good price I purchased the shampoo/conditioner. I didn't use the color protector formula before so I can't say how it is supposed to work-but these are my results. My very curly/Caucasian hair curled even more and more defined as well, which for me I liked. And it created 'huge' hair volume-being a Leo-that was good too! :-) On the other hand, the scent that comes after the initial scent(coconut-which I don't prefer but can put up with e.g.Nexxus) is distinctly like sweaty wet dog. Seriously, it has that coppery metallic funk that hits you in the back of your nose and throat-really weird! When you rinse it and your hair is still wet, it lingers but I have always used a drop or two of essential oil to dry in the hair, so that 'covers' it, but I don't use essential oil to 'cover' smelly hair. Also, when dry, I run my fingers thru and the very ends of the curls snag and knot more easily. So, A for volume and definition, C for shine, B for deep cleansing and removing dullness and FFF for WTF is that 'wet dog' smell! Will I use it? I'm not in a position to waste. Do I enjoy it? No. Buy again? No Way! Hope this helps. :-)

VERY moisturizing
There are very, very few shampoos and conditioners that I can use because my hair is extremely dry- parched, really. I can use liquid keratin, and Abba. Being a vegetarian, I LOVE that this is never tested on animals, and is also free of all the bad chemicals you want to avoid absorbing into your body. It's a win, and my hair is fine, frizzy and parched.

Healthy hair with this product
Overall I like this conditioner. I have light brown hair. Even though the color is processed, this product makes my hair very shiny. The scent is a little strong, but seems to diminish after my hair is dry and styled.

The smell
The first thing I put the conditioner on my hair, I thought I have to throw it away. I don't even know how to describe the smell but it smelled bad. The conditioner does work and by itself is excellent without the smell. After paying over $30.00, I did not want to waste it. On 2nd try, I used the conditioner, the smell is ok. Not my favorite, but it is ok. I am wondering perhaps my hair has so much highlights that the first time I used it, it created a reaction. I asked my husband to smell it, he is fine with the smell. So now, I am still using it. I don't put on my scalp, but on the outer area of my hair where they are dried.I will buy ABBA but perhaps a different product for a different scent. I don't think I will buy this conditioner again after I use it all

no more antifrizz serum needed for me!
I color my hair and have had to use some sort of antifrizz serum for years......but once I switched to this shampoo and conditioner I no longer need any other product! I have hair with a little wave in it....and can even go a day or two between washings. I am very impressed. Ofcourse not as much suds as the sulfate shampoos (that is fine by me) and the smell is light ...kind of like coconut....but I can deal with that........at 38 I finally like my hair :)

Perfect for me
I have enviable hair, long, wavy, thick, lots of it. It's just on the dry side from living in the desert. This conditioner hits just the right balance of moisture without heaviness or oiliness. My hair is SO soft and the curls stay apart with minimal frizz without the need for any additional products. Just a touch of product now for the frizz, even with air drying. Love the scent... coconut and something else. Love the absence of many common chemicals.

Smells so good!
This stuff smells amazing. Your head will smell like a creamsicle. I use it to mix dye with, so it sits in my hair for 15-20 minutes and my hair is very soft afterward. Did I mention it smells great?

This is not the same formula as the one i used a few years ago. maybe alba changed it? Anyway, this causes breakouts on my hairline and back. Also, it dried my hair out.

I love the conditioner
I love the conditioner. I’ve been using it for years. The smell, and the way it makes my damaged hair feel softer and healthier is awesome.
