This is a very clever gadget and an excellent concept.You can see on the screen what it is being connected to and this sorts the most onerous part of bluetooth pairing when you dont know what is being connected and when it is actually connected.Works equally well as atransmitter and receiver.The aftersales is also very good.All in all a very good product and would highly recommend

Great price on what seems a well made solid product and clever software to flatten open book pages and even automatically remove fingers holding them down from images - not always perfect but avoids me having to force pages from delicate old books down onto a flatbed scanner. OCR into searchable PDFs works well.

I've been using this product for sometime now. The scanning is not clear at. What is really annoying is that the description says it supports all languages including Arabic but it actually it does not.Really not worth the money if you are looking for a scanner with crisp images and one that supports other languages.

This product doesn't deserve a top or bottom rating. I've never heard of the brand so I was a bit cautious before purchased but did my research. The product is 'OK', but that's it, just OK.The black matt that comes with the device is a waste of time. It's got the markings on it, but the scanner/camera is so lightweight (maybe I'm clumsy) if you turn the page of the thing you're scanning you have to reset it if you accidentally knock it.The hardware though is built well and I like it.The software.I've never used OCR software before but this appears excellent picking up typewriter text with ease. The only problem is if the document is bound and so you get a curved feel to the jpg/pdf. I can cope with that.The software is buggy as hell though. It seems to crash if it's running too long, or if you scan a lot of pages (50+) in one go.There is no save mode to pick up from where you left off. If the software crashes, it sometimes remembers where you were and you have to click ok NOT to delete the scans done thus far.The editing is truly awful as you have to grab each side of a line (you can't drag it all) to crop/edit.Sometimes you can't double click to edit a page and if you click too often the software just closed.On the preview page there is no edit button or option to move a page up or down (or delete page) so you have to come out onto the edit screen which is too small to read before previewing if the preview button works.As I say, the main issue is the editing once scanned.Worked fine on Windows 10.In summary,Great hardware buggy lazily designed software.If I could use different software, I'd give that a go.5 starts for the hardware, 2 starts for the software.

I just bought it but the looks perfect. Easy to install. Very good resolution.

We bought this for to scan book covers and pages to display on a book retail website. Although the setup is painless the algorithms to flatten pages and remove your fingers from the picture leave horrible artefacts (see images). The overhead LEDs also cause reflections on glossy paper. We'll be returning this and continue using flatbed scanners.

Works well. Built in light can be a problem on glossy papers. Images are greatly softened, but this is so much quicker for documents and books than a flatbed.

Prodotto di buona fattura e abbastanza intuitivo. Lo scanner quando è aperto è un pò ingombrante ma la qualità delle immagini è molto buona.

Software entspricht nicht den Erwartungen, da die Installation auf Alternativrechnern teilweise nicht bzw. teilweise nur mit Problemen funktionierte. Da das Gerät durch das geringe Gewicht dazu prädestiniert ist, von verschiedenen Arbeitsplätzen genutzt zu werden, ist deshalb ein Einsatz für mich nicht relevant. Außerdem war ein evtl. nützliches Reparatur-Modul nur mit chinesischer Erläuterung, so dass ein Einsatz nur mit Bauchschmerzen denkbar wäre.

Purtroppo lo scanner, che pure scansiona i libri con una qualità accettabile (ma solo impostandolo a colori; in bianco e nero la scansione è orribile) ed è comodo da usare per il cambio pagina, non è utilizzabile per libri con pagine in carta patinata in quanto la luce della lampada incorporata (indispensabile per avere una scansione accettabile) crea un riflesso che causa una striscia bianca illeggibile in ogni pagina, in corrispondenza della curvatura. Scansione orribile dei documenti a foglio singolo (viene meglio utilizzando lo snatphone e Office Lens).
