OMG! Finally! Perfect terrestrial tarantula enclosure!
Eureka! I have finally found the perfect terrestrial tarantula enclosure! I have spent tons of money on cheaper enclosures only to find that they did not work as well as I hoped they would and would have to buy something else. I know that's part of the hobby but it can get very expensive. So do yourself a favor and by these enclosures because they will be the last enclosure you buy for any particular tarantula. I love the fact that the screen lid is secured as it slides in and snaps shut. The screen is metal not mesh so you do not have the danger of your T catching its toes in the mash or chewing through it and escaping. They are very well-constructed and I also love the fact that they are stackable. And even when stacked they are designed to provide air flow for the enclosure on the bottom. As you can see from the picture, the depth of the enclosure is sufficient to adjust the depth of your substrate depending on the trantula. I am so excited to finally find the perfect trantula enclosure that I will be buying more to convert all my terrestrial tarantulas to these enclosure.

Great enclosure for juvenile tarantulas
Rehoused my gramastola pulchra into the 8x8x8 when she was about 2 inches. I used like 1/2" of pea gravel at the bottom with mesh on top, then filled it up with coconut fiber. I made one low corner with about 4 inches of vertical space and tapered it up to the opposite corner with about 2 inches of space. This made sure she had enough depth to burrow, and has worked great. The mesh isnt the kind that can hurt tarantulas, it has larger openings and is very safe. The trap door for feeding is great. She is now 3 inches and it's still perfect. When she gets bigger I'll be moving her into the 12x12x12 from this company

Great
I love these tanks. I have two in different sizes now. This cube is holding my juvie h. pulchripes. It was out of digging room in it's last tank. It seems very content in the new one with deep substrate and lots of room to burrow. Sturdy tank with slid in screen lid and a feeding door.

Perfect for small reptiles
I bought this for my husband’s baby corn snake. It’s been a great size for him. The only mishap we had was my husband’s fault.Imagine being in the living room and hearing cussing out if nowhere. Then frantic scrambling. More cussing… my response? “All of that better not be followed up with the words The Snake Got Out”..Sadly, it got out! And then took off at warp speed… (and yes, I prefer snakes who aren’t loose in my house)The sneaky thing wound itself along the top of the tank, under the edge of the screen, so that it couldn’t be seen. My husband thought it was hiding in the bedding or skull.Nope.He opened the lid and little Ramen shouted “Freedom” and shot out of the tank…He was returned to his home, unharmed. I think my heart rate tripled for those moments, but we all pulled through in one piece. And my husband learned an important lesson — make sure you can see the snake before opening the screen. So if you’re buying this for a small snake, and have people living with you who might freak out if it gets loose, be sure to check under the edges of the screen before sliding it open. Or have a phone handy for a video to post to your TikTok of the incident.

Good quality product
New pet for Christmas. This tank has a nice build, top screen slides on and locks in. No excessive glue like some tanks

Solid glass terrarium but need to be taller for lizards or chameleon
The media could not be loaded. Cute little 12in x 12in x 7.8in Terrarium glass tank with sliding metal screen. The glass and frame is very solid, and the construction you can tell went through good quality control. At this size you can put maybe a small lizard or tarantula. Because the height of the tank is only 7.8in I don't think it's suited for any lizards or chameleon that like to climb on to high branches. If the height was double it would of been perfect. The sliding screen you need to slightly lift at the front to unlock which is simple and works fine. I like the little cap that opens up so you can feed whatever you have inside. I just drop few meal worms to my blue belly lizard. The metal screen is pretty thick so I don't need to worry about placing the heat lamp right on top of the screen. Screen being metal I can just use a spray bottle to mist the interior and also provide water and humidity for the lizard. For this size I will be using it as a temporary breeding ground for my male and female blue belly lizard.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
We have a Costa Rican Zebra Tarantula and a group of 7 Hissing Madagasgar cockroaches, originally, they each had their own 10-gallon aquarium because finding something cost effective, stackable and that could work for both creatures was REALLY difficult. While the shipping for myself was VERY delayed, things happen in a time of COvid. They arrived undamaged and the box was great condition (I was highly worried about it breaking.)They are the perfect size not only for them to feel secure but for our liking as well! They stack so wonderfully on each other with plenty of open breathing room between the enclosures. Lightweight, easy to move and handle, easily cleaned and works great for us!I would buy this in a heartbeat again!!(4 for lock simply due to the fact it does catch once in a while but you just simply have to pay attention.)
