I’m pleasantly surprised by this printer. It’s nice and compact and fits in small spaces. Install, however, was pretty questionable. There are no real directions, just some pictures and arrows. I downloaded the app that was on one of the papers and that was useless. I ended up using the prompts on the screen to set it up. It was easy setup through the touch screen. The screen is responsive and easy to work with. My daughter was excited to use the color laser printer to print out a picture for a project. I was surprised at how quickly it came out and how nice it looked. As far as the toner, I do also like that the colors are individual and I don’t have to replace an entire color cartridge if I run out of only one color. If you’re looking for an efficient and high quality color laser printer without all the extras, this is for you. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.

I can’t believe the people who can’t print PDFs, 4 minutes to print, etc. C’mon, people those problems are your computer or print drivers! We use this printer for my business, so it gets a pounding. We print from Apple AirPrint, Windows and Mac. It performs flawlessly, wirelessly. And beautiful prints, too. Aside from invoices, labels, etc, we print customer facing signs and graphics.The only thing that bugs me is that the additional toner costs more than the printer. Now I need to find a second drawer…

I originally bought this for printing pictures and as a reserve office printer if I'm working home, but picture quality of the photos weren't good enough so that part is not working out. Thus far we got to enjoy the unexpected convenience of having a wireless printer around the house that all wifi devices can use, including all of our android phones. It was a one time setup, though instructions from lexmark are insufficient, but we tried out couple apps in android and found the driver that works and that was it, all our phones can print whenever and wherever within the wifi network. I thought touch screen was going to be a real plus for this machine but we ended barely used that feature. Print speed is decent and it can double print fairly quickly I guess it does not need to flip pages to print on both sides. If you do want to print on photo papers or resume paper, you can fo so via the manual feeder, the tray via auto feed wont pick up thick pages. Still a recommended buy.

I received the Lexmark C3426DW Color Printer today and was eager to setup and get running. Setup was quick and easy. Removed tape as directed and plastic locks for shipping. I connected my ethernet cable and power and powered it on. I was impressed by the simplicity of actual setup. Walked thru a few selections and it was ready to go. I quickly installed drivers on my Win 11 desktop which was equally easy. I ran the network report and connected to the web admin to check/update firmware. It found a new firmware update and updated. It was ready to rock and roll. My one bug was somehow I fat-fingered the admin password I setup! But a quick chat session with Lexmark Support, which was very responsive as well, quickly resolved the issue. My first test pages were crisp and clear both black and white and color. Double side print work as expected. This printer is a lot quieter than my previous laser which is a pleasant surprise. Overall, first impressions are very good. Years ago, I had an old Lexmark that was built like a tank, so I am expecting a long life with this one as this arrived just in time for tax season so it will get a good workout in the next few weeks! I'm a writer and educator, all from home, so it's safe to say that printing is vital to my life. The Lexmark Color Printer 4 series is exactly what I needed. Immediately upon opening the box, the instructions were clear and the printer was setup and ready to print, without much of an interruption to my normal workflow. One feature that stood out to me that really makes this printer a keeper is the automatic double-sided printing. I've already saved so much time and money either not having to print double the pages or having to put the paper back in the printer to print on the other side. Another weight off my shoulders was the printing speed. It only takes a few minutes for me to print out an entire manuscript when it took more than twice that before, and even better, I didn't have to constantly reload paper because of the extra large tray. When I first started using the printer, I wasn't sure if I was going to get used to the entire interface being a touchscreen, but it was surprisingly intuitive and I don't think I could go back to the clunky buttons of the past. All in all, this printer is pretty much everything a home office needs. This is a worthwhile investment for anyone that needs to print from home (which is so many of us nowadays). Highly recommend! Not able to do do anything because it's locked

DO NOT BUY THIS! IT CAN NOT PRINT PDF FILES TO SAVE YOUR LIFE! IT IS TERRIBLE. IT JUST PRINTS RANDOM CHARACTERS ON MULTIPLE PAGES AT THE TOP OF PAGES BEFORE I CAN CANCEL THE PRINT JOB - IT IS A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT TO ME! PLEASE AVOID THIS PRINTER! I CAN NOT STRESS HOW BAD IT IS - YOU WILL WASTE A LOT OF PAPER. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY IF YOU BUY THIS! THE RESULTS ARE THE SAME USING ADOBE, FOXIT, OR SUMATRA. I am glad I kept my old printer to print pdf files.Potential buyers should also note that the manufacturer does not comment on lousy reviews - an indicator of the type of support you will get.

I bought this to replace an inkjet printer which was always clogging up. The laser printer technology makes that problem go away, and the price of consumables is also cheaper. The print quality of the Lexmark C3426dw is very good, since it has very fine resolution. Color prints are also surprisingly good, considering that it uses toner instead of ink.

While everything else about the printer works very will, it takes an incredibly long time to process print jobs. For example, I just printed a two sided utility bill in color and by my counter it took over four minutes to process the job. Always takes at least 1.5 minutes for black and white single sided.

What exactly is Lexmark thinking here?!This is apparently intended as a small business printer, and its performance is up to the task as far as actual PRINTING goes, but otherwise, this feels like some kind of gag. This is a SINGLE FUNCTION printer. Printing is all it does! Duplex printing is possible, print speeds are great, toner yield is acceptable, I have no problem with any of this. But just about all other printers in this price bracket are multi-function, with copiers, scanners, sometimes fax, etc. How is this comparable?Setup is quick and easy, though I've found all printer manufacturers have gotten better at that in the last few years.What I DO have a problem with is both the entry price for this machine, and especially the price of replacement toner. The machine itself is upwards of $450 here on Amazon, and $499.99 on Lexmark's Canadian website. This on its own is also fine, but the toner, and I looked all over the place to try and find cheaper alternatives, is ELEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS for a full replacement set of cartridges (high yield cartridges)! Almost three times the price of the printer itself! That is insanity.Lexmark has a recycling program, where you sign up and get a discount on replacement toner provided you return your empty cartridges when you get the new ones. Again, this is fine. But the savings are not huge, and it appears that if you do not sign up for this program, you can only buy high yield cartridges, at approximately $266 a pop per color. If you DO sign up, regular, non high yield cartridges are available but are still $405 total (for all colors together), and high yields are still $912, or twice the price of the actual printer. Is this acceptable?These costs are preposterous. Do you absolutely need laser printers? OK, go look at Brother printers, or Canon, or even other Lexmark models. If it doesn't matter whether you use laser or inkjet, have a look at Epson's Workforce EcoTank printers, with 25% higher capacity ink than the high yields of this model's toner, with (shock of shocks) replacement bottles of ink for LESS THAN THE PRICE OF THE ORIGINAL PRINTER! I just can't wrap my head around the prices of toner here.

This is a nice compact printer. I have used Lexmark both at home and are work for years and I find that they make a consistently high quality product. This printer is no exception.The printer arrived very well packaged. All moving parts (drawers, trays etc) were taped to prevent them from moving and/or breaking during transit.I am not great with technology, and the last time I set up a printer it was EXTREMELY frustrating. I was apprehensive about setting this one up, but it was actually very straightforward. The disk that comes with the printer contains everything you need to set up the printer. I popped it in, and it walked me through connecting to the internet and installation on my computer. It took under 10 minutes from popping the disk into my computer until I was printing.The printer prints very quickly, and the print is crisp.This printer can print multiple sheets very quickly, and this is made easy because of the tray, which allows multiple sheets to be fed through. This printer prints double sided without me having to flip the sheet - I LOVE this feature!! I do admit that it took me a good chunk of time and YouTube videos to figure out how to make the printer do this, however.The colors are very good. I don't use color a lot as I dont print much beside words, so make sure you need a color printer if you purchase this one.I synced this printer to my smart phone and it was really easy - just need to download the app. I think it's really cool and useful that I can print from my cell phone without having to get out of bed! The wireless printing works all over the house and in the garage too.The biggest (only?) downside of this printer is that I wasn't able to locate replacement toner cartridges on amazon, so I cannot comment on the price of continuing to use this printer in the future.
