It’s ok, not great though
It has an ok sound, but not great, I played around with it all evening (drove my wife nuts). In the end it went downstairs in a drawer, not in my turkey vest.

Picture description says glass for slate call.
Nothing to dislike regarding the HS Strut calls, however, picture of slate call "color" is incorrect as mentioned by previous reviewer, I ordered the slate call only to receive the glass version. The price paid was consistent with the slate version, again verifying the incorrectnes of the ad.

Broken
The slate broke in half on mine after not even a year. I never used it in the field, only for practice at home. I pulled it out of the gun cabinet to find it’s broken this year. Highly disappointed considering it sounded great.
