10-Pound Gourmet Bittersweet Chocolate Bar

Guittard is excellent quality, ethical sourced chocolate.This dark chocolate is good for nibbling, baking, ganache, frosting, but best of all for enrobing truffles and molded bonbons.At less than $10 a pound, buying it by the block is a real bargain for good chocolate.Guittard is the only chocolate I consistently use for my truffle business.

Got this for my Mom as a Christmas present, she loved it! It tasted great too! She used to receive a 10 lb bar of dark chocolate from a friend every year, but not for many years now. This bar was a joke as well as a sentimental gift.

This is delicious chocolate in 10 pound bar form. I could try to write flowery language to describe it, but really a simple statement of fact is all that one needs. 10 pounds of delicious chocolate says it all.

The Guittard bittersweet chocolate I purchased is excellent with just the right balance of flavor and texture. I was disappointed with packaging it was shipped in. The chocolate was broken into pieces since styrofoam “peanuts” were used to fill the box and didn’t provide adequate protection. I re-used the box the chocolate came in I didn’t notice at first but the tape was perforated at one end and the contents almost fell out. The bittersweet chocolate luckily didn’t fall out due to this it maybe that’s why it tribes in so many pieces since the integrity of the box was compromised. I would have given the Guittard bittersweet chocolate a 5 easily but the breakage and presentation due to poor packaging was very disappointing.

It was delicious chocolate! The packaging is not what is shown in the picture (it comes in a plain white box), but if you're getting ten pounds of chocolate, who's looking at the packaging?

Came in one pice good thing, but BOX is a PLAIN WHITE BOX not the WORLDS LARGEST BAR ETC AS SHOWN, DISAPPOINTING AS IT WAS A GIFT..
