Very lightweight. It all works fine. It is easy enough to install, but there are 2 possible ways to do it and 2 sets of bolts and nuts to choose which way. I'm still not sure why they give you 2 options as either one would be fine. I was looking for sticky paper to stick the rubber gaskets onto the hinges, but there isn't any. I just lined up the gasket and put it on. BTW, I would not stand on it. I used to stand on toilet seats to reach cabinets but after seeing how easy the seat can break at the hinges, I won't be doing that anymore.

It's a toilet seat. 50 bucks each plus shipping to Mexico. Bought 3 of these. Hope they last. Easy to install. Choice of plastic or metal screws comes with it. I installed with metal screws. You can sit on closed seat cover without it flexing. No side to side shifting. I like the slow and quiet close system. Now , if they would just clean themselves.

The seat is sturdy, quiet and clean-looking, as advertised. Comes with a few installation options. I really do like the soft-close feature.The seat is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of our bowl, which isn't ideal, but isn't a deal-breaker. The widest part of the seat is 13-3/4", which leaves 3/16" of exposed porcelain bowl edge around the entire perimeter.The drawback is that with our toilet, which has a standard tank lid, and a low-profile (1/4") bidet, the seat only has a 60% chance of staying up to facilitate standing urination. It has to be held up, or it just slowly closes right in the middle of your business, so the males in this house have quit putting the seat up to urinate. The overall bathroom experience is still a step up from our old thin seat, but I'm going to get tired of cleaning up urine dribbles before I can use the toilet.

I've had other seats with the slow close and they just weren't as nice as this one. Highly recommended

First , the positives! It was easy to install and came with 2 choices of hardware for installing. It looks nice, and the soft-closing feature is perfect. It is comfortable: wife approved.Now the negatives - there's nothing to hold it in place while sitting on it; it slides to the side. My old seat was rock solid and wasn't flimsy, stayed centered on the bowl. This one slides back and forth no matter hot tight I cranked down on the screws. Very disappointing. The seat bumpers need to be sculptured out to help it stay in place and maybe beef up the hinges so they don't flex sideways so easily.

This toilet seat is just great. It does not wobble when you sit on it.It does close slowly as promised and the cover is very sturdy.Was not difficult to install.
