Levi's Big Boys' 513 Slim Fit Jean
I have a really hard time finding jeans to fit my son, but since I had bought the Levi's 513 Slim Fit Jeans before, I thought I would order them online. The fit was a little bigger than we usually get, and my son had to wear a belt with these jeans. The quality of Levi's has always been good, but I guess all the different cuts don't run exact. It was a good price for Levi's, so I will probably order again, even if my son has to use a belt with his jeans.

Nice jeans, but I wouldn't call them "slim" at all.
My son is only 9, but his legs are too long for the Levi's size 10s, which fit him snugly at the waist. So I bought this, thinking it would be "slim fit." Folks, this ain't slim... the legs were just a smidge too long, but would have been wearable. The waist was WAY too big. We tried it with a belt, but it was so big it looked silly. Finally went for the 510 Skinny Fit jeans in size 12. They fit, but the legs are really tight. It's not a true jean fit. My son is not oddly fat or oddly thin, so it's strange how much trouble we're having with fit... just be aware that these are more like "regular/husky" than a true slim fit.

Nothing wrong with the jeans themselves
There was nothing wrong with the jeans themselves. My son, age 10, is super skinny, but very tall. Boys size 8s fall off of him, but are too short, like top of the ankle short. I was hoping that levi's would run a little longer, but I was wrong. I ended up finding a pair at Children's Place that JUST fit his leg length. I hope this trend isn't what I have to look forward to his how life.

These have the classic Levi's look and fit -- not "slim," more like 501s
Can't beat these classics! Gorgeous and go with everything. The Hudson Blue color has that authentic worn-in look. My son, at the age of 9, pretty much wears these every day.One thing to note: "Slim" doesn't really mean slim any more. Slim is what would once have been called regular jeans. My son is just normal, not at all skinny, and these fit him with room in the waist. Even the legs aren't very slim -- just not baggy. So if you like the 501/505 styles of the past, this style is just what you're looking for for your boy.

Pretty Good
These are good quality jeans. It's hard to find jeans for my son, he's 13 1/2, he needs a 26x28, really 26x30 but those are impossible to find. I purchased a 28x28, they are a little big in the waist but should be fine.

These are my son's favorite jeans
My son loves these. I'll keep buying as long as I can although he might be ready for men's jeans soon. He's the tall lean type and he likes his jeans skinny but not tight and very dark in color with no fading or variance. He's very happy when I buy him these. He's not so happy when I buy him anything else.

Too small. I bought these for my 12 year ...
Too small. I bought these for my 12 year old, size 14 and thought they would be long enough but they were not. I'll have to try a 16 and see if that works. He is NOT a big kid at all... quite skinny actually, normal height, but these just didnt cut it.

great fit, soft, well made.
fit great! my son loves them. we ordered two more in different colors. the vintage is very cool as they have the worn looking spots, but they aren't holes where any skin shows through. they look like the expensive ones you find in the high end brands.
