GE Sealants & Adhesives-2709180 Kitchen & Bath Ultra Seal Pro, 5.5 Ounce

I made sure to clean and dry the area in my tub very very well, I even went as far as blow drying it to make sure it was bone dry. Not only was this not enough to cover 2 short walls and 1 long wall of the tub, but it never set up properly. 3 days after applying it is still tacky almost like a spackle texture. We have made sure not to shower in that bathroom so it had time to set up and have had a fan running on it to help drying. It was also hard to squeeze out of the tube. I had to scrape all of it out and go to our local hardware store to buy new caulk and that worked much better.

I applied to my bathroom sink. It looks white like toothpaste. After 24 hrs later, I turn on the water and the white caulk came off like toothpaste. I used my fingers to touch it and move it around and they all totally came off...what the hell...what a scam. I am done with it.

I bought this product because regular GE Silicone 2 was not available that week. It works fine, and it cleans up with water and is paintable. But in the end, this is still latex caulk and will not resist mold in the bathroom as long as pure silicone. Pay 2X the price to get a product that will last 2X longer unless you absolutely need paintable caulk in your bathroom.

I got the clear caulk, after 24 hours of applying, it turns clear and somewhat dry. Took a shower and stayed intact. I'm sure ideally, you would wait a bit longer, but works for my case. Only gripe is that this didn't come with a cap for preventing it from drying. I used some plastic wrap and tape to seal it. I doubt it will stay good for long. Try to use in a short time (maybe in a span of a week or so) or risk having it dry out before u can use it again.

I gutted my shower and tub to redo my bathroom and bought this to try after a friend recommended it.This stuff works great. It goes on smoothly, stays on in a nice breaded line or blend smoothly and flush with the right tool.This stuff works much better than anything else I've used to date. I will definitely be buying work for future projects.

We used this product to reseal some of the corners for my bathroom and it worked great, drys fairly quickly but gives you enough time to maneuver it if needed. Only issue I have with this product is it does take a lot of strength to squeeze the sealant out of the tube. But aside from that it was a great product.

Terrible sealants for wet location. Back label says water ready in 24 hours, but it's really just splash ready in 24 hours. Standing water would dissolve the sealant before it cures fully in 14days. Who has that much time for a wet location?

I like this caulk. Not sticky like pure silicone, so it stays clean longer.
