Small but Seriously Powerful.
Honestly impressed with this little UV flashlight. Super bright for its size and the 365nm light is very clean — not that cheap purple light you get from other ones. I mainly use it to check cleanliness and stains, and it works perfectly. Build quality feels solid and the USB-C charging is a big plus. Small enough to carry around but definitely powerful. If you need a real UV light that actually works, this one is worth it. Would buy again.

Pretty good!
Great quality! Price may be little high, but it could been worse. Has great light output. Seems to hold good charge. Bright UV.

Manganese detectable in lighted areas
Purchased this to use in identifying American Brilliant Cut Glass with Manganese content. Powerful enough to use in lighted indoor conditions. No more finding a dark corner, or covering a piece to create dark conditions. Weaker 365 blacklights, see last photo for comparison. Also works for detecting in EAPG, and Uranium glass.

battery does not last long before it wont take charge again, if not fo rthat DARN good for the money
I'm dissapointed in the length of time the battery actually lasted before it went bad and wont charge, I have similar products like my stream-light and the batteries lasted YEARS before I had to replace one, I mean so long I cant remember 10 years possibly longer. this battery didn't ,make much longer than a year, out side of that, the light worked pretty darn good, I used it it in hard to get places for leak detection for coolant and oil leaks with dye put in the system, could it be a little more powerful, perhaps, but in most all cases I could use it in fairly bright situations even several in broad daylight to see the dye glow well. I literally did not use the A/C powered one at all until this battery would not take charge, and it was like out of no where, it just would not light up at all, BUT Id have to say Id give it a solid 4 stars I was pleasantly surprised particularly for this items price range, sure better than dragging out the extension cord and pulling out a 6in diameter gun style huge UV light, you just do not run down to your local store to replace this battery either, so i still have not done that. debating replacing it with something different but haven't taken the time to see what else is comparable. but i ran into a situation where getting the job close to power is not possible. so I need to do something, wish it was easier to get a battery

Really is UV - excellent for super macro photography
Note - the photo submitted is not for its "beauty" but to illustrate a point. This light does put out true UV, and a goodly quantity. The picture submitted is of a pink rose bloom at a distance of 12 inches (measured). This was shot in a darkened room. I used a Pentax KF full spectrum (Kolarivision modified) using Pentax 100mm ED AW macro. ICE UV filter. ISO 12800, 1/200 at F3.5 and -0.7ev. The K3 is very bright, and the light was un-difused so the hotspots on the (very) reflective rose necessitated -0.7. I used an 18% grey card to white balance, producing a nice grey image. I did some grain reduction in Topaz Photo AI. OK all the tech stuff is over. What I like: the flash is rugged. It has a good heft a weight. I used a light stand and clamp to hold it. This is not a cheap plastic barrel, which I appreciate. My intended use is photography both indoors and outdoors. Indoors for some fun ultra close work; outdoors as "fill". The button on the barrel has a nice solid "click". It came with an extra extension tube - for a second battery? The output was reasonably even, but I may use a diffuser in the future to avoid harsh shadows. I had it on for about an hour adjusting light, etc. No problem with battery life. The unit did NOT get hot in use. That bodes well for longevity. Frankly, I would like this company to make some photo oriented light boxes - something square, maybe 4 to 6 inches on a side for macro work. They really have a great product and I appreciate quality. Oh, and it really is UV. My other cameras did not pick up a usable image. Only the full spectrum camera, and it definitely was UV.

Strong long-wave UV source in a portable form factor
When's the last time that your new flashlight came with an owner's manual? Did it have a wonky section that boasted about the design choices? Did it have an actual, coherent troubleshooting section? This one does. This flashlight deserves a great manual. After all, it's a great flashlight: solid machined body, USB-C charging port, and a narrow-band 365 nm pass filter. And the beam... this thing is dim... until you shine it on something fluorescent! Holy cow!. You realize how narrow the human visual spectrum is. There is a ton of UV emitting from this flashlight, but it's not visible. Turn on this beast; depending on what you seek, you may be thrilled or mortified. Walls and floors that look spotless light up with dust and stains. OTOH, lots of things light up in unexpected and delightful ways. Take a nighttime hike with this device; you'll see bright blue-glowing centipedes, yellow fluorescent mushrooms, scorpions (if they are indigenous). Limitations? Keep in mind that the beam is long-wave UV. It will still make some rocks in your fluorescent mineral collection light up, but it won't be the colors that you see in the museum short-wave fluorescent mineral case. For that, you need an SW unit, 10x what you pay for this flashlight, and not portable. Heat level? The UVBeast V3 mini gets pretty warm after a few minutes, but not hot. The lithium battery is replaceable if you exhaust its charge/discharge lifespan.

Perfect for UV inspections!
This UV light is awesome! I love using this light when I'm searching for leaks on my cars or when I'm doing UV inspections on welds. It works extremely well, and really cuts out all the purple color from non filtered UV lights while still keeping a relatively good brightness and keeping the fluorescence nice and bright. It is super easy to use and very compact. It isn't too heavy at all which is great as well. The charge time does take a little while but the battery lasts a long time, and I have yet to have any issues with any heat for this light at all.

Not bad, not as great as I hoped.
Let me start off by saying, if this is the only flashlight you need, it's pretty darn good. I'm hyper critical of all flashights. It's UV is quite bright. The battery is a pretty hefty 26650 that will give you plenty of run time. If you use an external charger, you'll notice the threads are pretty sharp and jagged. I personally feel like I wasted my money, but that's because I have an Olight Arkfield Pro (~$200?). However, for $40 this flashlight is on par with the Olight, so I'm not complaining. I just expected/hoped for an even brighter (higher output) UV diode. I suspect they're using the same UV LED in this as the Olight, which is very likely the highest output available. Unless you want a green laser and white/natural LED included with a UV light, you really don't need the Olight... Get this, save your money it won't disappoint you. The only meaningful issue/concern I have is the construction quality. It's made of some pretty brittle thin aluminum and the button is kinda goofy (requires a double press to turn on "safety feature"). I would've preferred a heavier duty aluminum, steel, or brass, but this thing is made sturdy enough for 99% of the people who will buy it.
