Style Arc Sewing Pattern - Daisy Designer Pant and Tunic Outfit (Sizes 04-16)

I like the simplicity of the pattern pieces that sew up quickly. The pattern is true to size. However, this is not a typical US pattern with large pictures and accompanying step by step instructions. The Australian "Construction" instructions are written in a separate box. Large pictures of the individual pattern pieces are shown separately but there are no illustrations to show you how to sew pieces together, as in US patterns. You would need basic sewing skills to understand sewing instructions such as what is meant by "...sew a large stitch to the head of the sleeve and slightly ease in." But, having said that, the garment comes together easily. I would purchase additional patterns in the future.

Lovely pattern. Made linen pants and am ready to start tunic. I feel that instructions are adequate especially if you are not new to sewing. I would not discourage beginners from using this pattern as the fitting is so easy to follow. If you feel the instructions are not easy to follow get a sewing book from the library to better understand techniques and language. Power Sewing by Sandra Betzina is a good book to read for basic info.Addendum: Have now made the tunic. Wonderful pattern. Easy to follow and every piece just simply goes together(not like some patterns I have used) I will be ordering more of these patterns.

I haven't made this yet, but the pattern is printed on high quality, thick paper. The instructions are brief and may be a challenge for the novice sewer but other wise, great company.

Tunic made with rayon challis in a black and mustard print. Pants made with 100% black linen. Pattern runs large. I am 5’4” and wear a 14, or L/XL. I made a mock up in size 14 and had to adjust the pattern to take off 2 inches in length. The pants have very wide legs. I took in 2 inches, tapering from the hip, and they are still pretty wide.Over all I liked the pattern. Easy instructions for an experienced sewist.

Pattern was easy for me but I can see how it may be hard for a novice. There are videos that explain some of the techniques they talk about in the directions. Bought 2 more patters (more modern then the ones I have).

Wonderful pattern with great instructions. It is lovely and was a very satisfying sew.

Absolutely fantastic. Printed on heavy drafting paper, not cheap tissue. Very well written instructions. I'm very impressed with this, and look forward to more purchases.
