how to tighten them
I used them to fix my upvc door and frame but concluded that despite drilling the correct size holes the bolts failed to grip and I changed them for expanding bolts that gripped the brickwork without slipping

Not enough bite / not thick enough to give a secure hold with a 10mm hole.
Bought these to put up a TV. Bought a dewalt 10mm masonry drill specifically for the holes. After drilling and knocking them in - you then tighten to expand the shaft - right...There is too much play in a 10mm hole. Even when the bolt is pulled into the expanding tube - the total diameter is only a few mil more that the original 10mm hole. So my bolts tightened - but then just spin. I've pulled them all out (shouldn't be able to do this) and will buy the proper thing from a hardware store to get the job done.You might have better luck. This is just my experience.

Did what they said but not strong enough for my required needs. They also didn’t open out as much as required

Gute Metallspreizdübel
Super Dübel, sehr stabil und halten bombenfest im Beton, konnten uns sogar an die damit befestigte Schiene für einen Garagentorantrieb dranhängen, ohne dass sich was fehlte.
