Taco 0015-MSF2-IFC 3-Speed Circulator, Cast Iron

Can I say about this product, It does exactly what it's supposed to. It was fairly easy to install aside from retrofitting my current boiler system because of its age. Once it was installed I didn't even realize it was running, it's really that quiet. Been going strong for at least a year now and I would recommend this product to anyone in need of such a pump.

One of my 5 zones stopped working. Yep, the circulator was not running.I suppose I *could* have taken it apart and cleaned it, or perhaps discovered the built-in check valve was stuck.But after 10 years, I figure better to be safe and just replace the whole thing. Took about 15 minutes with two wrenches.4 more to go (someday)

It was a replacement 1:1. Very easy to install. My old pump was making noise, now everything works OK.

This is a great product and I have installed several. It comes with a three-year manufacturer's warrantee, but, if you buy it from Amazon, you cannot make a claim for that warrantee. Seven months after I purchased the pump, it failed, locked rotor. Amazon only accepts returns thirty days after purchase. Taco, the manufacturer, told me I had to make a claim with the third-party seller. Can't be done with Amazon. Can't work through to that seller through Amazon. All I got was useless troubleshooting tips (is it plugged in? is ether power at the outlet?). I know what is wrong: locked rotor. No power is going to make the pump work.I many cases, Amazon does a great job as an intermediary to a host of vendors. For warrantee claims, it serves as a barrier.There are plenty of direct plumbing suppliers, online and on main street. Deal directly with one of those.
