WORK SHARPWSSA0002023 Tempered Glass Wheel For WS3000

I have several of these, now, for different grits. Completely flat and well balanced.

I purchased this for a work sharp sharpener. The product fit as it was supposed to and functions appropriately. If you need a replacement glass wheel for your workshop machine, this is it. I would recommend this product.

Nice flat surface for the sanding media. Not much to report on other than that. I keep one grit on one side, and another on the other. Using felt tipped pen I mark what side has what. Makes it easy to identify which side to use.

Just like the glass wheels that came with the Work Sharp; so if you need an extra wheel or two for more grit choices this is better than taking off only partially used abrasive from the stock wheels. Each wheel can hold two grits. One of mine has fairly coarse grit for a little bit less refined work. One also has the option to use very fine grits with the extra wheels. This is the way to go.

User friendly, quick, and cost effective

I found that the “edge vision” slotted discs never gave me very good results. Even though you can’t see your progress with these, they give me faster, more square results. Skip the edge vision gimmick and stock up on these. I have one for each grit, plus the stropping disc, which is basically just one of these with a piece of leathery material attached to one side.

this is just like OEM works great!

Believe me if your serious about sharpening your wood tool blades with the WS3000 and you have newer blades that need initial conditioning, then getting the coarse abrasive kit is perfect to do this and when you combine it with an extra glass plate you can keep the abrasives ready and waiting with out wasting one to take it off and add another when the abrasive disc is not ready for replacing. It's well worth the expense and the peace of mind you'll achieve from this great sharpening tool.
