Was unsure about a lot of things regarding the item... but am happy that I bought it. First off, I wasn’t sure what a silicone holster might feel like, since silicone comes in different grades. Would it be super soft like an ice cube tray and pliable, or more rigid like a hard rubber? Well, it’s very rigid, almost like a hard plastic sheath with very slight rubbery-tactile feel to it. This keeps the pruners from slipping out too easily. I was hoping for something more giving a pliable, that would confirm to whatever tool input into the sheath... but maybe this will be more durable, and I’m only using it for pruners anyway. I like the clip that it uses. It’s not a generic metal clip, that would only rust after time. Metal clips can also be too tight and require two hands to slip it only something. This has a plastic clip that comfortably slides onto the waist band of my shorts, and doesn’t poke or scratch. It is strong enough to hold on securely, yet gives enough to slide ok easily with one hand. Happy with this purchase even though it isn’t what I though it would be.

I really liked this holster until it fell off my belt in thick, tall undergrowth, never to be seen again! Recommendation: create a slit for a belt to pass through the holster. Yes, keep the clip, it's convenient for light duty projects.

What I love about this holster is it's firm rubber and plastic so it holds its shape, has a drainage hole in the bottom so I never need to worry about that, has a good firm well-sized clip that works for lots of different positions (eg, over a waistband, belt, pocket of a toolbelt, etc.), and is brightly colored so therefore hard to lose. While working, I open my hand pruners (Felco's - love!) and drop them down into the scabbard. That way I can just whip them out, use them and then drop them back into the holster without fussing with the pruners' catch every time. The material and shape of the holster holds onto the pruners quite well even while working in dense brush, bending and pulling (we've got Asian Bittersweet vine! it's a project pulling that stuff out and cutting and applying herbicide to the stumps). I highly recommend!

I read the reviews before choosing this one over the others. I was a bit concerned as one reviewer sad they don't work for their Fiskars pruners. However, the other reviews were quite positive. I took a chance they would fit mine. They fit both my ¾” and 1” Fiskars pruners just fine. Very Happy.

This holster easily pulls off of one's belt when attempting to remove a tool from the holster, due to the fact that the "heavy duty" belt clip is plastic without much of a "catch" at the bottom of it - and the holster/sleeve is flexible (which prevents consistent close contact between the clip and the holster/sleeve). Bottom line: unless you like to use both hands (instead of merely one) to remove the tool from the holster sleeve, look for an alternative to this frustrating product.

I love this holster. The quality and craftsmanship is great. I, alas, had to return it because my Felco 2 Pruner doesn't fit the way I like. It fits, tightly, but is not quick on the draw, so to speak.

It falls off my belt when am working. I guess the clip is not tight enough to stay put in your belt.
