This spray is wonderful. It helps break up any matting and makes the coat more brushable in general. Also smells good. The fresh smell lingers at least through through the next day - it reminds me of a baby powder fresh scent. I use it in targeted areas like underarms if my Shih Tzu gets a mat there. I saturate the tangle and it loosens nicely when I comb it out, much easier than with other sprays. That was my original use, but I will also sometimes use it to give her a light spray all over before brushing her out, especially if she's getting close to grooming time and her hair is getting a little dirty. The brush or comb seems to glide through easier and, as I mentioned, she gets that clean smell.

I am so glad this product is available again. However it now comes in a non aerosol bottle. Also the fragrance is a little different but still very pleasant and lasting. I use this everyday to groom my Shetland sheep dog. It does not build up on the coat. Her coat is beautiful and mat free.This is my favorite grooming spray and I have tried several. I hope this will continue to be available.

This is the best I have found. The bonus is the wonderful fragrance.
