Solid build quality, easy learning curve
Interested in getting into drones but was unsure where to start and with no experience I was worried about trashing it into a hedge or tree! I purchased this mid-range drone as more of a crash test dummy so to speak. Surpassed all expectations, very easy to fly with a very little learning curve. Feels intuitive.Case: Nice hard case, very durable and nice place to put all the spare bits and pieces.Remote Control: Rugged and very easy to control, requires batteries. Buttons are tactile and precise.Battery Life: Get a solid 10 minutes with aggressive flying, a little bit more at a slower speed.Drone: Bumpers which help when brain to hand functions are a little out of sync and it goes pair shaped. Nice solid build quality,Very happy with the drone.

This Potensic navigator drone is amazing and to compare it to the db power drone ...
This Potensic navigator drone is amazing and to compare it to the db power drone it could actually be better. The battery doesn’t last as long as I would like, but it can fly for more than 10 minutes just hovering around and practicing. I had to buy two spare batteries and it is well worth the extra cost. It’s pretty easy to control with the remote controller that comes together with this drone. I am impressed with the way this drone can do a one button take off and landing. That function gives you a piece of mind knowing you don't need to be skilled pilot to land this aircraft. I can control the drone moving forward in any direction it’s facing to. It comes with a microSD card so the drone is ready to play and record video. I also bought spare batteries to keep the fun going for longer of course. The navigator is made of high quality plastic and is very durable. My son crashed it on a wall and it even fell on dry grass and it was still flying like some NASA built spaceship. At first I thought it may be broken, but it wasn't even dented and It still works perfectly like the first flight. There is also a neat feature where it will stop the engine after it crashes. This will help to protect the drone and prevent it from damaging it's surroundings if you play indoors. The drone has a high quality 720p HD camera built inside I can take videos and pictures with, and also connect this drone with my phone to see real time video on my phone. The drone can even flip over 360 degrees and take videos. I can also control this drone through my phone, but I think it’s much easier to use the controller. I am definitely starting to get this addiction to flying drones. This drone brings out the big geeky kid in me. I opted for the extra carry case version because after using it, I like to look after my expensive drone.

A great, inexpensive start to learn drone flying.
This is an ideal an inexpensive way to learn and get into the world of drone flying.Set-up is easy; ensure the battery is fully charged, download the Flyingsee app to you mobile and your ready to learn. The handset is sturdy and takes 4 x AA batteries (not supplied) There are two antennae and two thumb joys stick controllers. This particular drone is very small so you're safe to learn the basics indoors - the bigger the room, the better. One you switch on the handset and the drone you need to pair them together and this is notified via a beep. The drone houses a micro sd card for videoing what the camera sees. One of the good things about this model is the ability to 'lock' the height and heading it is flying at which gives you more time to concentrate on the intricacies of left, right, forward and reverse. There is also what I describe as a panic button - hit this and the drone will auto land as quickly and as safely as possible. From the app you are also able to take still photos which are captured straight to your phone. There are two notable issues with this drone. The first one (not exclusive to this model) is that the battery life isn't impressive. On a good flight you'll be lucky to get much more than five minutes of flying time before the battery will require recharging. A full charge take around an hour to achieve, so if you're intention is prolonged use then you'll need a supply of spare batteries, or lots of time and a power bank. As this particular drone is so small and light weight, weather conditions play a big part in the ability to use it - even the slightest breeze will blow it of course, so beat this in mind when using outdoors. My tip for first use outdoors is to find a big field with no obvious obstructions and just practise the basics. Take a few photo's and maybe a video (bear in mind that viewing will deplete the battery more quickly). The drone is also supplied with a micro sd card reader so you can download your video footage straight to your desktop. I'm attaching a short video showing my son operating the drone in our local park which I hope will convey how responsive it is, and how good the range is on the controller. There are also two photos taken using the drone's built in camera.
