They Work.
I am a long distance walker, hiker, and backpacker. I have been using these patches for several years. They prevent blisters on the balls and heels of my feet. They also work for placement anywhere needed. I have been experimenting for over 30 years to build a combination of boots, socks, insoles, and blister prevention that works. I have found a few that work but none better than: Merrell Moab 2 GTX Mid boots, Wright socks, Sofsole Perform Athlete insoles, and ENGO patches. I give most of the credit to the Wright socks and ENGO patches. I suspect that combination would work with many different boot and insole combos. I have never had any trouble with the adhesive and I do a lot of my walking in the heat of Texas and Arizona. I'm on road and trail approximately 150-175 miles a month doing between 5 and 20 miles each hike (I even did a 40 miler last spring. My feet were sore and tired but without blisters or even hot spots.) I get 4 or 5 months out each set of these patches. I think the double layer Wright socks are taking up a lot of the sliding and making the patches last longer. That's a good thing because they are a bit pricey. I would like to say I will stop buying them because they cost too much but I won't. That's because I'm an old retired guy now and I need all the help I can get to stay out in the woods. Happy Trails.

Fantastic Product
I frequently develop blisters in the arch areas of my feet from running. I have tried different shoe brands, different shoe sizes, different socks, foot glide, bandages...I have even tried shoe fittings prior to a purchase. Nothing would work to prevent these arch blisters from forming as soon as the number of miles per week would begin to increase. Halfway through a recent marathon training program, the blisters were so painful that I was forced to take a full week off from running. I stumbled upon the ENGO patches while searching for blister prevention options and figured they would be worth a try. They worked immediately. I applied the patches to both shoes as described within the instructions. They provided instant relief for the blisters and allowed me to resume running while the blisters continued to heal. The patches remained "stuck" to the shoes in the exact location they were applied, even through the remainder of the marathon training program and the actual marathon. I have now ordered additional ENGO patches and have added them to all of my running shoes. I could not be happier with these!

Works great!
I rubbed through my third pair of tennis shoes on the inside back heel to the point I couldn’t wear them without getting a painful blister. Nothing worked to fit it until this. I took a very small piece of foam and filled in the crater I had made and covered it with these strips. Worked like a charm. No more friction. Saved my shoes and feet. I will preemptively put these in any future tennis shoes.

Saved my feet from Arch- Edge blisters
I am a serious post-collegiate distance runner and had bad plantar fasciitis at the end of August. The cortisone shot knocked me off of training for 2 weeks and I forked over the money for custom orthotics which I had to wait another two weeks for. I was out of shape. Then the new inserts gave me arch blisters! How am I supposed to break them in and get back into shape if it hurts to run! The doctor was no help, all they said was "heal your blisters and your feet will get used to them". No thank you! Moleskin was working kind of but not completely. But I watched a video about arch blisters from ENGO and thought I would give it a try. I felt a difference IMMEDIATELY. I now am 3 weeks back into running and they still work. The ones that I put on my inserts I had some bubbles/creases and am worried they will come off at some point, but I think I would buy it again just for the relief! Follow the video and try it out.

Lasted 240 Grueling Miles
As a runner who routinely covers distances up to 13.1 miles, any extra friction on my feet can lead to nasty blisters in short order. Even buying the exact same brand, model, and size of running shoe does not guarantee a perfect, friction-free fit; even if the four pairs you bought before gave you no problems. This was the case with my latest pair of Brooks Beasts. Usually the Beasts fit me perfectly right out of the box, but this pair started talking to my left instep within the first 5 miles of my first training run (in mid-March of this year). Trying to power through with the typical runner attitude was not the best move, as after I had finished the 10 mile run, I had a full fledged blister. During the next week, as I let the blister heal, I ordered the Engo blister prevention patches after doing some online searching. I followed the instructions on the package, adhering one large oval patch over the offending area, which happened to be right where the shoe's insole met the side wall of the shoe -- and my arch would catch on the built-up hard rubber base of the shoe. I smoothed out the patch as I applied it to the shoe, and followed it up with 20-30 seconds of blow dryer heat; and then I wore the shoes to help with the adhesion. That was 240 miles ago, and just today I finally had to replace that original patch -- I could feel that burning feeling after today's 9 mile jaunt, and after further investigation, discovered it had finally worn through along the insole / side-wall junction. For my running shoes, 240 miles is well over half the life of the shoe. I would consider that to be some excellent performance, considering what these shoes have been through in that time. I can't say enough good things about these patches. The slick surface allows your foot to glide right down where it's supposed to go, instead of getting hung up on edges. During that time, the patch never came loose at all, and I still have two more large patches left after the one I installed today (as well as all of the small patches). Highly recommended.

Does not stick well
These things are useless. Started peeling off before I even wore my hiking boots with them.

My threading on the back of my new shoes were scratching my skin really badly. My friend was telling me that I had to just keep wearing it to break into them but I felt that it wasn't worth the pain. So I got these patches and they work really well. I applied the large oval patch on the backs of my shoe and then used a scissor to cut the tips into strips (in the pictures) so that they could fold nicely on the edges. They're really sticky and they're sticky enough such that if you mess up/it's not straight, you can peel off that region to reposition it. From the pictures I thought it would be a felt texture but it feels more like a smooth duct tape-kind of surface. Yes, my shoes look a little weird now with blue tape on the back, but I don't care because the shoes are comfortable and comfort is the number 1 priority for me.

Got huge blisters on the side of my feet from my skates. Old bloke said to try these Teflon patches and so far so good. Had it on my boot for about 4 weeks now with over 150km on them. Stuck on really strong. Still minor blisters with really long skates but I wear super thin socks due to a tight boot fit. If I wear normal sports socks the blisters totally dissapear. Would definately reccomend these as the first point of call for blisters.

I am very blister prone, used these plus the larger version under the balls of my feet for a 100 mile race and had zero blisters. Highly recommend. Ordered more for my new shoes, they are now essential adds.

We went on a hiking trip to Scotland, and I was the least fit of the group. There are a couple of spots on my feet where I usually get blisters, and I was keen to try and limit injuries, so I looked for blogs about blister prevention one of which mentioned this specific brand. These patches do exactly what they promise. They allow your skin to slip slightly against the lining of your walking boots, so that your skin doesn't have to absorb the friction and separate, forming a blister. I couldn't believe that I was able to enjoy 9 days of blister-free walking, taking full advantage of spectacular sunny weather. Yes, they're pricey, but I recommend these patches 100%.
